AdBlock is recommended for individuals who frequently browse the internet and wish to have a cleaner, more streamlined viewing experience without ads. It is particularly useful for those concerned about online privacy and data usage, or for anyone who is frustrated with the distraction caused by excessive advertising on websites.
I've been using AdBlock for a while now, and I really like it. It blocks annoying pop-ups, video ads, making websites load faster and look cleaner. Itโs easy to use and works seamlessly in the background.
ddg is my favorite search engine and it has great restutes. It has a built in video player too! The only problem is that i have to use google in a blue moon to get the results it need. Duckside! Brave! Lunix!

Https://getadblock.com/en/ This one works fine with me on Opera GX. You can go to your browser's web store, like the Chrome Web Store and download one. If you switch to a browser like Brave or Opera GX, you can have a built-in one, which is easier. Source: over 2 years ago
Interesting, I usually don't get pop ups on soap2day or that site(only if I miss click on the play button or something similar sometimes). I use an ad blocker though so maybe thats why. I get WAY more when I use my iphone though. Source: over 2 years ago
If I were you I would contact official steam support at the Steam Help Page, maybe they'll be able to help you, make sure to use an AD-Block or a VPN to stay safe out here on the internet. Wish you good luck. Source: over 2 years ago
This issue just appeared today, I've never seen it before. I'm using NordVPN with kill switch enabled, and I already checked with https://www.iplocation.net/ and http://checkmyip.torrentprivacy.com/ to confirm I'm routing all traffic through the VPN. I tried getting a new IP from Nord, but it still didn't fix it. I'm using this ad block plugin in chrome https://getadblock.com/en/ , so I don't think this is an ad. Source: over 2 years ago
I have an AdBlock extension for my Chrome browser on desktop: https://getadblock.com/en/. Source: almost 3 years ago
The AI stuff can be disabled. Duckduckgo allows you to store settings in the URL, so if you're the type of person who disables cookies and localstorage you could simply edit your search URL to: https://duckduckgo.com/?k5=1&kbe=0&kbj=1&kbg=-1&q=%s. - Source: Hacker News / 7 days ago
It's solid, I use it 95% of the time, that 5% Google usually still disappoints. https://duckduckgo.com/?t=ffab&q=midjourney&ia=web. - Source: Hacker News / 9 days ago
Anyone familiar with The Onion knows this, The Onion themselves repost the exact same thing every time there's a school shooting. Which emphasizes how regularly it happens, and therefore in turn I have no objection to a joke like this becoming copy pasta every time an NPM supply chain attack takes place. https://duckduckgo.com/?q=site%3Atheonion.com+%22no+way+to+prevent+this%22. - Source: Hacker News / 17 days ago
This is not insightful. It describes (in a very typical padded, AI style) some generic reasons that PDFs are hard to parse (which apply just as much in any programming language), and then makes a few common suggestions for Python PDF parsing libraries that could trivially be found by anyone who needs them with a simple Web search (https://duckduckgo.com/?q=python+pdf+library). Similar game: Mamono Sweeper https://duckduckgo.com/?q=mamono+sweeper (mamono is monster in japanese) it's a RPG variant of Minesweeper, where you have life points, level up and fight against monster (mines) that gives you xp once killed (you loose HP if you fight a monster higher lvl than you). it's a flash game, that had an android release at some point (it was removed from the store for some reasons). - Source: Hacker News / about 1 month ago
