Ableton Live
GDevelopCrafting music in Ableton Live has been an exciting and efficient experience. The software's powerful features and intuitive layout truly stand out. Loading samples and loops onto the interface is as easy as drag-and-drop, allowing for quick and easy experimentation. The session view is perfect for improvisation, and the arrangement view is ideal for fine-tuning. The automation feature is a gem, enabling the creation of dynamic soundscapes. Exporting the final track is straightforward, too. All in all, Ableton Live has revolutionized my music-making process. A top-notch tool for any music creator!
awesome, but contains some bugs like frezees or editor view crash

I'm considering pre-ordering the Live 12 upgrade from 11, but I can't find any info on ableton.com that lists Live 12's system requirements. The pre-order page for Live 12 lists Live 11's system requirements. Source: over 2 years ago

Hi, I'd like to giveaway Ableton live lite (10+11) license for free. The license is currently linked to my account, so I need to transfer ownership to someone who has an account on ableton.com . You can dm me your email address you have an account with. I can give it to only one person first come first serve basis. Source: about 3 years ago
Did you order direct from ableton.com, or from somewhere else? Source: over 3 years ago
You're not going to get access to most of the packs, as you need an account with a product key on ableton.com in order to download them. As for plugins, I'm not sure what you mean. If you're talking about Max for Live, you might be able to find a separate crack for that but again, many of the devices are on the Ableton website and require you to be holding a product key. Humble Bundle has a Godot bundle is available for the next day or so. That might be a good one to look at if you're ok with leaning into code a bit (gdscript is very very similar to python). https://www.humblebundle.com/software/learn-godot-43-complete-course-bundle-software Also check out the RPG Maker bundle. That's pretty point-and-click. You can have something basic up and running in a couple minutes... - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
I selected this library as I normally use much higher-level tools to develop games such as p5.js, or GDevelop. Both these tools are amazing in their own right; however, I want to learn how these processes operate on a much lower level. These tools take care of a lot of issues for you ranging from asset to memory management. Raylib is still cross-platform but does not handle these tasks for the programmer which I... - Source: dev.to / almost 2 years ago
It's not as monolithic as you'd think. There are lots of engines out there but their communities aren't very vocal compared to Unity, Unreal, and especially Godot's community. Take a look at: https://itch.io/game-development/engines/most-projects And https://www.gamedeveloper.com/blogs/the-generous-space-of-alternative-game-engines-a-curation- If you look at both of these you'll see just how many engines there are... - Source: Hacker News / almost 3 years ago
