  • Just received this email. Never happened before. Seems to be legit. Am I right to be concerned?
6 – Set up a forwarding address service such as (duckduckgo.com forwarding service, simplelogin.io [ProtonMail's property], burnermail.io anondaddy.com). Source: about 1 year ago
  • Fleeing burnermail.io - need to migrate aliases with custom domain?
I was using burnermail.io with a custom domain name that I own. They don't have any obvious way to export my 300 aliases that use my custom domain. I flipped my MX record to SimpleLogin and setup my custom domain as well. I turned on catch-all for my domain. As new emails come in with an alias created in burnermail, Simplelogin is auto-creating them which is awesome. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Good email service providers?
Another recommendation for proton mail and burnermail.io for temporary sign up. Source: over 1 year ago
  • DuckDuckGo Email
If you are interested in the "unlimited unique private email addresses" functionality, also take a look at these other services: https://33mail.com/ https://anonaddy.com/ https://burnermail.io/ https://relay.firefox.com/ https://simplelogin.io/ These all support custom domains, except for Firefox Relay, which only supports a custom subdomain. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
  • Help! How do you stay safe? I have a public profile/am slightly "famous" and HNW
While this is a convenient choice, if someone gets access to your burnermail.io account you are screwed. The point about having it directly on an email server is that there is no traditional login and you can't trace which service provides the email server. They would need to provide a bring-your-own-domain feature as well as a rotating IP/proxy. Given they don't even provide the first, I doubt they provide the... Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Help! How do you stay safe? I have a public profile/am slightly "famous" and HNW
Use a privacy-focused email forwarding service like burnermail.io or simplelogin.io with every new online account. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • European carriers seek to block iPhone Private Relay feature
You can just use Burner Mail as an alternative. Problem solved. Source: over 2 years ago
  • LPT: If you are using Google Mail, you are provided two unique mail addresses by using either '@googlemail.com' or '@gmail.com' which allows you to create two different accounts for a service with just one address.
Alternatively, you can use something like Burner Mail and have an infinite number of addresses at your disposal. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Scammer at dev.to?
I have a unique email through burnermail for most services I use, including dev.to. - Source: dev.to / over 2 years ago
  • CoinMarketCap email leaks. Be alert.
Do you know trustworthy services? I use https://burnermail.io/. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Fraud hotline - missing in action
If you want you can use https://burnermail.io/ to hide your email and personal details and it will forward responses (confirmations etc) to whatever email you choose. If you get it to forward to a Proton Mail account and use a VPN (I'm pretty sure both the Brave and Firefox browsers have free VPN trials and they are safe to use) and you will be as anonymised as you possibly can be. • Email Mystery Shopper to take down Scam sites
Burnermail.io and similar solutions allow you to do something similar with your own domains - which simplifies management in my opinion. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • How to keep sites from snitching on you, for changing your email address?
You can also use https://burnermail.io. You can create thousands of temporary emails ids which will forward emails to your primary email address. You can also change where to forward your emails to. Best thing is you can delete the email id whenever you want and you'll stop getting emails for that burner email. Source: about 3 years ago
  • What's with the random bans?
Anyhow, go to burnermail.io and sign up, it's free, you can generate burner emails so instead of waiting for stocktwits to un ban you, just make a new acct and get on with your life. Source: about 3 years ago
