1. What makes Automix unique?

   Automix is an AI mixing tool, not just an AI mastering tool. Most AI audio services only master a finished stereo file, while Automix mixes up to 32 individual stems, applying EQ, compression, panning and dynamics to each track to build a balanced mix. Automix Pro then exports the result as a DAW-ready project for Ableton Live, Bitwig Studio or Fender Studio, with every processing decision visible and editable in native plugins. 2. Which are the primary technologies used for building Automix?

   Automix is powered by TonnSDK, RoEx's own audio engine combining machine learning with digital signal processing, built on mixing research from Queen Mary University of London. The same technology runs the Tonn API, which has processed over 8 million tracks to date. Automix analyses each stem and makes per-track decisions on level, panning, EQ, compression and dynamics, with processing running either in the cloud or locally in Automix Desktop.

3. Why should a person choose Automix over its competitors?

   Choose Automix if you want help with the mix itself, not just the final polish. Mastering tools like LANDR and eMastered can only work with a finished stereo track, so they cannot fix problems between instruments. 5. What's the story behind Automix?

   Automix grew out of a PhD project at Queen Mary University of London's Centre for Digital Music, researching how machine learning and signal processing could automate multitrack mixing. RoEx was founded in London by CEO David Ronan, alongside Professor Josh Reiss, to turn that research into tools for creators. Post launch Automix has expanded from the web to a desktop app that runs locally, with DAW export for Ableton Live, Bitwig Studio and Fender Studio.

   Automix's creators RoEx also created Mix Check Studio. A platform that gives you actionable feedback on your audio mixes and masters and enables you to fix issues found in your tracks with the Mastering+ feature. RoEx's suite of intelligent audio tools are integrated into leading music and entertainment platforms through API and SDK integrations.
