I was looking through the Multimedia section of apps.kde.org because I was wondering how many music players KDE has (five of them, excluding video players and including Amarok, which is missing from the list, because apparently KDE considers it unmaintained even though it still works perfectly fine and regularly gets fixes from random contributors, which is the state many other "maintained" KDE projects like... From the KDE side, I tried Cantata and Elisa, not so bed, but mpd player (the deamon of cantata) is very instable and Elisa don't reproduce streams. At that point I have installed Amarok 2.9.71 from the AUR, I've easy imported my OPML, and it just work! It's only an alfa release, but is very outstanding! It seems that the Amarok project had been abandoned from at least 3 years but I really don't understand why it... Source: over 5 years ago
