How can I recieve a client's credit card information securely and view it so I can book something on their behalf

Alternatively if you are booking common routes, trip.com or Kiwi.com could hold the customers credit card details for you and middle man the transaction in a much safer way than holding the information yourself. You would still need their login to details which poses it's own risks.

That aside, a lot of cards support the generation of virtual card numbers. I have not tried it so I can't endorse it, but https://privacy.com/ looks like it would do the trick. There is a high chance the clients cards already provide something similar.
