Enter your vehicle info into kbb.com, Nada.com and edmunds.com. Each will give you a high/low/average trade in price. Print out the sheets and when the dealer offers you less, hand them the sheets and ask them, "why would I take less from you than others have gotten for the same trade in? Up your offer to at least the average and you've got a deal.".
