Don't buy a textbook from the bookstore if you don't have to!! You can generally find them on https://libgen.is/ or https://sci-hub.se/ if you want an online version of it and your school probably has a Facebook group where people buy and sell textbooks for fairly cheap if you need to have a paper copy of it.
