Lose the mustache, and get some stylish frames from ZenniZenni. Also get a haircut. Source: 7 months ago
I doubt you'll find anywhere cheaper than zennioptical.com. Source: 10 months ago
Yes! I’ve done my glasses shopping online ever since the optical shop associated with my insurance quoted me $1100 for a pair of glasses and a pair of sunglasses (they were progressives, but still). My favorite sites are Zenni and Payne. (Payne is based in my city, so I can even get them shipped fast without having to pay extra.). Source: 11 months ago
Dress and act the part. You can add a pair of glasses to help, ask a female friend to go shopping with you, just get clear lenses. If you're poor, go to zennioptical.com, and buy a few pair of frames that look cool on your type of face. Find a celebrity that looks something like you, and find a pic, and see what they look like. Order a couple pairs off zennioptical.com -they're cheaper than dirt. Keep one in the car and one in your go bag. Source: about 1 year ago
I recommend zennioptical.com for inexpensive prescription glasses. Source: about 1 year ago
Only one I can think of is LensCrafters but I would not recommend buying from them as they are way over priced. I would say go there to try out their selection and taking note of the sizing and then go online to zennioptical.com or somewhere similar to find a similar style and size. Just my 2 cents. For about $20 Zenni made me some yellow tinted prescription "fashion" sunglasses, with antireflective coating too. Source: over 1 year ago
You can't beat the price, if you have vision insurance that covers the cost of the eye exam or at least reduces it so it's significantly less than $79.95 than I'd suggest getting the exam with insurance than getting the glasses with zennioptical.com. Source: over 1 year ago
Also check out Zenni. We've had a lot of success with that one. They do allow 1 free 100% return on an order (after that there's a restocking fee). I made use of that on my last order when the first frames I got just did not work for me. Source: over 1 year ago
Fam, in the name of frugality and in the fellowship of being lame of the eyes, I present you Zenni. Source: over 1 year ago
I mean https://zennioptical.com https://www.eyebuydirect.com/ I’ve gotten my last 8+ pairs at one of those two (may have been a third but can’t remember) the most I paid was for some sunglasses where I wanted a few upgrades $80… the rest averaged $12. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
Glasses aren't that expensive. I buy them from https://zennioptical.com I don't think that I'd ever pay more than $100 for a frame again. The sunglasses that we buy in a drugstore can be had for paltry sums, why not prescription eyewear? - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
Zenni and, I 2nd that! Hubby and I both get several pairs there (with/without progressive and a pair of sunglasses) for less than we used to pay for 1 pair of his single vision from the eye doctor. They've always been made well and I've never even needed frame adjustments, this is coming from somebody who is very "bothered" by things being on my face and around my ears. They have been the most comfortable glasses... Source: over 1 year ago
You can always just see if there's anything at zennioptical.com that suits your fashion sense and pay the comically few bucks out of pocket. Source: over 1 year ago
The provider is legally required to provide you with a copy of both your contact and glasses prescriptions. Get these and look at zennioptical.com for glasses and 1800contacts.com for contacts. Let the glasses place quote you costs but you are almost always better off going somewhere else. Source: over 1 year ago
Please check zennioptical. I got my main glasses from them for $18. Source: over 1 year ago
I didn't do anything special. I just took my written Rx, went to zennioptical.com picked out the frames I wanted. It ask your for your Rx information so I just copied that over from the slip. Put in my credit card. Presto glasses showed up in my mailbox. Source: over 1 year ago
Http://zennioptical.com you can probably get your glasses for under $100. Source: over 1 year ago
Get prescription printout from eye doc. Buy glasses at zenni optical. Good prices, makes glasses actually affordable. Source: almost 2 years ago
I recently went to Sehome Eye Care, they take Molina. I didn't get glasses from them but I did get my eyes checked, a fresh prescription, and my pupillary distance measured all covered by insurance and then bought some cheap frames on zennioptical.com. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Hope that helps! Source: almost 2 years ago
