Zendlock launched recently and we're not naming customers yet.
Because it's faster and cheaper for one-off sales. You're live in about 60 seconds without signing up, the platform fee is 6.5% with no fixed fee or subscription, and payouts go directly to your own Stripe account with no minimum threshold to reach first. You also see your exact payout before you publish the link, so there are no surprises. If you sell the same product continuously, a storefront platform is a better fit - Zendlock is built for the one-off.
Zendlock is the only step between having a file and getting paid for it. There's no account to create, no storefront to set up, and no monthly fee. You upload a file, set a price, and get a link you can share anywhere. Your buyer pays through Stripe and the file unlocks instantly. Most tools in this space ask you to build a shop first; Zendlock exists for the moment when a shop would be overkill.
Freelancers and independent creators who need to hand over a file and get paid for it: photographers delivering client galleries, designers selling templates and presets, musicians selling beats and sample packs, and coaches or consultants selling ebooks and guides. Anyone who sells occasionally rather than continuously, and doesn't want to run a shop for it.
Sending a file and getting paid for it always meant one of two things: setting up an entire store, or just trusting the other person to pay you afterwards. Neither made sense for a single file. Zendlock was built as the shortest path between the two - upload, price, share, get paid - and deliberately kept to that one job.
React and TypeScript on the front end, Node.js on the back end, Cloudflare R2 for file storage, and Stripe for payments and payouts.
