Social recommendations and mentions

We have tracked the following product recommendations or mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you see what people think about Zencastr and what they use it for.
  • I’m trying to make a podcast with my Dad remotely
Reason I am asking is because while Zoom can do what you ask, in the free version there is a limit to 45min. Instead I'd recommend https://zencastr.com/ which is designed for what you want to do. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Huge boost in downloads after switching from Buzzsprout to Zencastr?
At Zencastr we count downloads compliant with IAB standards. We are currently working on getting officially certified by a third-party and so we haven't included this in our marketing yet. If you send me the link to your show page on zencastr.com, we can take a look to see if anything weird might be going on. josh@zencastr.com. Source: about 1 year ago
  • I’m not being brought back for season 2 of a podcast because “since we are switching to video format, we no longer need an audio editor”
Zencastr is a good option For recording video and multi channel decent quality audio locally on a guest’s computer while using a voip service. Source: over 1 year ago
  • I think we need simpler end-to-end tools. Anybody else had this issue?
Zencastr.com and alitu.com do recording + hosting but lack website creation or any form of marketing. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Best Zoom alternative for online recording?
This tool claims to be a podcasting-focused solution, not a video conferencing tool like some on our list. Zencastr is the ultimate all-in-one podcasting platform that allows you to record, edit, distribute and monetise shows from the same place. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Help Understanding ZenCastr Plans (Total Newbie)
750 refers to the number of full episode downloads. This limit is only relevant if you want to distribute video content via RSS to podcast players. Video views on zencastr.com are not limited. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Sorry Anchor! What host do you use?
I was using Anchor, but switched over to Zencastr. They recently updated their platform and added Hosting/Producing/Publishing. Once I build up my monthly downloads, I'm going to reach out about Advertising feature. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Best platform for vertical recording of podcast?
Before Riverside, I was with Zencaster. I was very happy with them, and they recently just went through a big upgrade. They also have Vertical Grid options in their post-production. The reason I'm leaving is due to Riverside's integration with Spotify, as well as their ability to livestream in the Future. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Anchor Alternatives?
Hi u/Choochilla, so sorry you're having trouble navigating the New Zencastr. We'd like to help. If you haven't already, please send us a chat via zencastr.com or email us at [support@zencastr.com](mailto:support@zencastr.com). Source: over 1 year ago
  • First Time Doing Video and Audio, help
Check out zencastr.com they just released an update that would solve all these. Had a few bugs last week but I heard those are all fixed now. Pretty aweseome, just attended their webinar earlier and im excited to transition to video podcasting too. Source: over 1 year ago
  • A podcasting tool like zencastr.com and riverside.fm
A podcasting tool like zencastr.com and riverside.fm but better. Source: over 1 year ago
  • What's a good program for recording podcasts with hosts in two different locations?
I like Zencastr. I've tried almost all of the online recording apps, and I think Zencastr sounds the best. Also, the free version should be all that you need. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Help me record both audio sources...
Another option is to hold your conversation through an app that can record both. There is a bot in Discord named Craig that can do this. Also this https://zencastr.com/ both are free. Source: about 2 years ago
  • What programs do you recommend for recording your podcast when you have a remote guest?
Zencastr has been pretty good. My goal when talking to remote guests is to have them do as little work as possible. No fiddling with Audacity, recording files, finding storage for those and sharing them with me - Zencastr makes that very simple because they record things client-side and then upload to my Google Drive, where I can just grab the content and process it. • Literally my reaction on my drive to work this morning (spoiler for about 12 minutes Into today's episode)
I know! I want to link Dan these kind of tools to help: https://zencastr.com/. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Software for recording separate video tracks for quadriplegic friend
Https://zencastr.com may help.. I’ve found it useful for recording remotely. I’m not sure if it will give you all the control you’re looking for but it’s worth a glance. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Advice on recording apps to combine actors recording separately?
You can try Zencastr for free. I used it for a day-long event last week. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Using a private Discord Sever to facilitate remote recording.
We've used Discord as our voice chat for years. We use Audacity to record all of our hosts locally, and we use Craig in the Discord server as a backup recording in case anything should go wrong with the local recordings (which it usually doesn't). I wouldn't recommend relying on Craig specifically since it records server-side, so it'll record any internet hiccups your hosts might experience. One friend swears by... Source: over 2 years ago
  • The tools of the trade - The podcasting apps I used to create 341 podcasts in a year.
Zencastr - While many rely on Zoom for recording, I use Zencastr. Zoom is excellent for meetings, but Zencastr video and audio is just better for editing and podcasting. Because the audio and video is recording on both ends and then auto uploaded to Google Drive when you finish recording, you get great quality. They are free right now to help podcasters out during Covid, so you have nothing to lose on this one. Source: over 2 years ago
  • M1 MacBook Air effective podcasting tool?
For recording, we use Zencastr and then I edit with Studio One Prime. Source: over 2 years ago
  • question about recording podcasts
During quarantine last year we recorded using https://zencastr.com/ - quality is pretty good as it records and saves locally - we just used zoom so we could see each other. But if we have to go remote again I have a scarlett 2i2 we will record on our local pcs using audition/audacity and have the other folks send me their localized file to pull together. The Best Alternatives To Zoom For Remote Meetings
Zencastr is technically a web-based podcasting service and doesn’t do video calls, but it’s excellent for conference calls. Amid the COVID-19 outbreak, Zencastr is lifting its restrictions on group size and recording limits. Free users can now host calls with unlimited users and unlimited recording time (normally only three users per call and 8 hours of recording time per month, though unrecorded calls don’t count).
