  • Tips for someone starting out? I’m taking WFH more seriously than just my laptop
You're welcome! I use Timeular (https://timeular.com), which I really like because it works with a cube that controls the timer. You roll it around and the side up is the timing category. I find the feedback of a physical object very useful. I've also used Toggl, which is feature rich, works great as a Chrome extension, and has tons of integrations. There's a free version that's probably sufficient for most... Source: about 1 year ago

In Timeular you can set goals and track how much time you're dedicating to them. You can color code each activity and start-stop the timer and switch activities with keyboard shortcuts. Source: over 1 year ago

  • I need a tool to create tasks with sub-tasks, track time, and setup recurring tasks. Clickup seems closest available solution. Wanted to know if there's anything better?
I don't know if it's as easy to do sub-tasks, but I've found timeular to be a pretty handy tool for tracking hours spent doing different tasks. Once time is logged under a specific task, it's possible to add a note about it, perhaps that's where you can differentiate between sub-tasks? Also, I've noticed you can create separate configurations, so, for instance, you can have a configuration where different sides... Source: over 2 years ago

  • What are the best physical productivity tools and alternatives to apps ?
I’m going to try https://timeular.com/ out. I’ve used Pomodoro timer app with success before but prefer no app and think Timeular having multiple sides and being physical will help me focus. I also use Remarkable 2 as a notebook or paper and find forcing myself to take notes helps me stay focused in meetings. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • What tools do you use to measure work time?
I bought a timeular, physical cube that you rotate on your desk. Programmable and comes with a nice API that allows you to build cool features for it. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • What are the best freelance timer apps for people with ADHD?
Though it’s not free, the physical D8 that https://timeular.com/ has really comes in handy. It’s simply a flip of a dice to swap the time spent on a particular task. You can use this for way more than freelance if you would like. Source: almost 3 years ago
