YunCMS is an independent, MIT-licensed, self-hosted CMS and backend platform maintained by Yunsoft Software. It is designed for teams that want a focused, programmable MySQL foundation without adopting a large general-purpose platform.
YunCMS combines dynamic collections, fields and relations with a schema-driven React Studio, documented REST CRUD, explicit role-based permissions, file management, trusted server extensions and optional AI/MCP integrations. Internal code and extensions use the same service and accountability model as the public API.
The current 0.1.x line is pre-stable and intended for evaluation, integration testing and feedback. V1 uses Node.js 24 LTS, JavaScript/ESM, Express 5 and MySQL through mysql2/promise. It is REST-only and self-hosted.
