Two things. First, everything runs inside the customer's own Azure subscription: the data factory, the database, the metadata and the keys. We never host or touch your data, and if you stop, you receive a licence key so the installation keeps loading. Second, Yres has its own connectors for AFAS and Exact Online, the two most common Dutch ERP systems, next to SAP, Salesforce, databases and REST APIs. Pricing is fixed and public.
Most data warehouse automation tools either host your data on their platform or price per row, per connector or per user. Yres does neither: one fixed monthly price, your own Azure tenant, no lock-in. Yres started as IRIS, built by Plainwater, a Dutch business intelligence consultancy, for its own data warehouse projects. After rebuilding the same load logic at client after client, the team turned it into a metadata-driven engine on Azure Data Factory and Azure SQL. In 2026 the product was renamed Yres, moved to yres.eu and listed on the Microsoft Marketplace. Existing installations did not change; the name and the website did.
