What I've noticed is that "comcast.net" is redirecting me to "xfinity.com/overview". Source: over 1 year ago

I finally resorted to calling them, which I knew was going to be a headache, but I didn't think it would want to make me go on a homicidal rampage. Of course you have to deal with the automated system first, and I sucked it up. The problem is that when it asks you what you want and you say "Technical Support" it says "There is an outage in your area, it should be resolved by 4 PM, there is nothing an agent can do... I can log in to xfinity.com with my email address and password that I selected, but when I click on My Account >> I get routed to a weird landing page that does not have any of those credentials that I use to log in, and there are no other links on the page. Source: almost 3 years ago
I noticed it last weekend I couldn't log into the stream app. Now I realized it's anything with authorization to xfinity. So I can open xfinity.com, but the second I hit "sign in" it acts like there's no connection. Source: almost 3 years ago
Go to xfinity.com, click on the email icon. Source: about 3 years ago
The Xfinity MyAccount App and xfinity.com login can also provide outage information, but its usually not updated until a number of customers have reported an outage. Source: about 3 years ago
I was just chatting yet again with a live agent on xfinity.com. They tell me that in order to get a "higher level technician" to visit my home and fix my internet issues that I need to sign up for a streaming service which is free for the first month and can be cancelled at any time after that. Thank, I'll try that. I did find a work around. If I start at a URL that corresponds to an actual page, such as https://customer.xfinity.com/#/billing (rather than https://xfinity.com), then I am able to log in. Source: about 3 years ago
Has anyone recently had issues logging into xfinity.com from a desktop/laptop? In some cases, I appear to be logged in, but I only see three waving dots. Other times, it kicks me right back to the login screen. I am on a VPN, although that shouldn't matter. It wouldn't be such a problem if I could simply call customer support, but they seem to have made that nearly impossible also. Source: about 3 years ago
So Base domain works perfectly fine with sub domains. it's just looking at the base domain (e.g. xfinity.com) so it treats login.xfinity.com and xfinity.com as the same site. I'm helping a friend out remotely who wants to buy a modem rather than have the monthly rental charges. To keep it simple for her, I think it would be best to have built in wifi instead of adding a router to the mix. It's going to be on a boat, so wifi range won't be much of an issue. She sent me a screenshot off of the xfinity.com website of modems she can buy off the site that are compatible. The only one... Source: about 3 years ago
