It seems like power cycling the modem works sometimes but the problem returns and cylcing the power now is not resolving the issue. I have tried deleting cookies for xfinity.com. I have tried clearing cache. I have reset the the computer. I have run "network reset" command in windows. Source: 11 months ago
Here we are three months in. I have yet to receive a sim card through the mail. I just checked and xfinity.com still tells me my phone is incompatible. I have been charged 3 months of absolutely 0 services rendered, and my town is deemed not profitable enough to have a store where I can go for some actual help. Source: about 1 year ago
It times out after clicking the "sign in" button on both xfinity.com and the Xfinity app. I have been trying to log in for days to view and pay my bill. I have tried clearing cookies and cache, and have tried on multiple browsers (Firefox, Edge, and Chrome). Source: over 1 year ago
I thought it had something to do with my vpn client. But even with directly trying to resolve xfinity.com it does not. Source: over 1 year ago
No, I am able to get to xfinity.com fine. Source: over 1 year ago
I just set up the gateway in my new place (the same XB7-T I was using at my old place), and while the download speeds are as expected, the upload speeds are now back to the 35-40 Mbps I was getting last year. When I check my plan on xfinity.com, it now explicitly says my upload speed is up to 35 Mbps despite being told that my plan would not change when I moved. Source: over 1 year ago
Although I haven't had that exact experience, when I did get what I assumed was the final pop up on xfinity.com to activate the Premium, it did ask for the email I used in the promo, which would have been my email with xfinity, not peacock. Fortunately it was the same one, but if I had a peacock account with a different email than what xfinity has, I could see you having that issue. It shouldn't matter but of... Source: over 1 year ago
I've been trying to sign in to my xfinity.com account this morning with no luck. Anyone else having problems as well? Source: over 1 year ago
Open an incognito browser window. Goto xfinity.com and don't log in. Scroll down a bit to 'New to Xfinity? Shop deals for new customers' Enter your address and click you're moving there as a new customer. If you can select a 2000 meg download package, your current address can receive the higher uploads. You'll need to rent their XB7 or 8 right now to get the higher uploads. Source: over 1 year ago
I used the lookup tool and can confirm that I am logging in with the primary username. Since I am getting a 503 error when clicking on the link from the article above (https://login.comcast.net/myaccount/userprofile) can you please tell me where I can find auto authentication option, beginning when I first login at xfinity.com (ex: xfinity.com > account & identity > auto authentication preferences, etc)? Or,... Source: over 1 year ago
Thanks for your reply. I am trying to disable to auto-authentication feature that "allows you to bypass sign-in whenever you're watching TV on certain network websites and apps from home." Following the instructions in the linked article above, when I click on the My Account link (https://login.comcast.net/myaccount/userprofile) I get a 503 error on desktop. When I go to xfinity.com and login normally I do not see... Source: over 1 year ago
Just replaced my home gateway (upgrade) and need to return my old one. I go through the whole returns thing on xfinity.com and try to request a UPS label so I don't have to drive two hours to an xfinity store. It always ends up saying my 'equipment details are unavailable' even though the equipment listed in my account are correct including the old, inactive gateway. The so-called assistant is totally... Xfinity websites only work if I disable DNSSEC checking for those specific websites (comcast.net, comcast.com, xfinity.net, xfinity.com). Source: over 1 year ago
However, I have been advised elsewhere that globally disabling DNSSEC is a poor choice so I backed those changes out. A bit of google research led me to the bind configuration option "validate-except". Of course, since comcast goes by multiple names I had to add comcast.net, comcast.com, xfinity.net, and xfinity.com to the list of validate-except. With this configuration, I can now access the comcast website.... Source: over 1 year ago
I did some checking and there were several references to this url with varying results (it's part of xfinity.com which I thought would be the case but there were also phising warning about it). Source: over 1 year ago
On a related note...the help articles need a little work. That first link that mentioned surround with the optical cable should also have a disclaimer that the XG1v1 doesn't support surround. Also, in the link that you just sent, it says "To view your equipment information, sign in to xfinity.com" and that link is for https://customer.xfinity.com/#/devices, which gets a 503 error. I'm sure you guys get that a lot. I just looked on xfinity.com, acted as if I was moving into my current address and chose the plan I have now (1200 Mbps downloads, which I never experience and 35 up) with "no contract" and it was listed as 90 dollars a month. My statement shows 122 dollars a month and I've had this same plan since November of 2021. (I've had service at this address since September of 2017.) I'm... Source: over 1 year ago
However, it appears that on xfinity.com, the Internet plans are half the price of the provider I have now. I noticed that if you choose xfi complete it says up to 10 times faster upload. But it doesn't tell you WHAT the upload speeds are for any of the packages I can choose from. The plan builder allows me to pick speeds from 200mbps to 1200mbps. Then, when you pick equipment, the 200mbps plan offers a free... Source: over 1 year ago
Yes, my last two replies plus the screenshot of xfinity.com all indicate that I tried to go to xfinity.com. Source: over 1 year ago
Correct, https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/view-change-wifi-password you can do it via the online portal as well go to xfinity.com login, click on internet and then view or edit wifi settings. Source: over 1 year ago
Good to know. I like Verizon a little more than Comcast. Right now Verizon's web site is way better than xfinity.com. Xfinity keeps asking for your password in the same browser session despite saying keep me signed in and also repeatedly ignores the remember this device for 2FA. Happens on multiple devices and others have complained about it in the Xfinity community forums. Source: over 1 year ago
