  I like to use Wolframalpha when I need to see probability curves (if that's what you're asking). Enter in "1d6" or "3d6" and you can see how one die has a linear distribution of results whereas multiple dice have a curved distribution. Basically each result on only one die all have an equal chance. Multiple dice means that there are results that will happen a lot more than others. Source: over 1 year ago

  Do you think being able to write things in plain english would help? Some CAS have some support for that. On https://wolframalpha.com/ for example you can write "three times x squared plus five x plus one equals zero" and it will convert to 3x2 + 5x + 1 = 0 and plot and find roots for you.
