1. What makes Wipeboard.io unique?

   It's simplicity to setup and the audit trail. Projects can be setup in 5 minutes. Team members can be assigned tasks and when they finish them, everyone knows it. As the team grows the price does not. Extra seats doesn't mean extra cost. Then there is the confidential client view. Your client can see their board see what is done in real time. No endless updates via email or slack messages that get lost. At the end of the week you get a summary of what was accomplished. Setting due dates is a breeze too.

2. Why should a person choose Wipeboard.io over its competitors?

   I think its the easy ability to onboard a new member with no required explanation. They see their name, they see the task assigned. When they are done, they click the box and everyone knows the task is complete. We built this as an internal tool that other people started asking us to use. So that is how it was born. We tried several of the big names and for me a non-technical person I would get lost in the weeds and just never go back. I wasn't alone.

3. How would you describe the primary audience of Wipeboard.io?

   Initially I was thinking small agencies and teams, but a friend of mine said they use to keep their kids schedules, homework tasks and chores in order and accountability. I think I can be used by anyone. Small teams to large teams to families. Its really about the simplicity of managing a project and creating accountability.

4. What's the story behind Wipeboard.io?

   The long and the short of it was, as group Remergify was growing quickly. We had lots of projects both internal and external. We tried other tools, but we spent more time figuring them out than on projects. Finally, we were at a breaking point on a project because we were just missing steps. I said we need something simple enough for me, with the ability to add details where necessary (through a project notebook) and deadlines. We spent three days building it and Wipeboard.io was born.

5. Which are the primary technologies used for building Wipeboard.io?

   the front end was built by lovable following directions that we created using Claude. We use Claude and Claude Code to speed up the process. Supabase is the backend as that is what Lovable uses. We've tried to use our own, but quite honestly Lovable has improved the connectability to Supabase significantly that it really doesn't matter. The nice thing is we can test different ideas and variations. A user complained that our original text irritated their ADHD and we should look into using a different font. We changed the font platform within the hour and let them know.
