The last time I did anything with Boot Camp (it’s been a few years now) I used this software to make a disk image and I was able to skip having to reinstall Windows or re-enter the serial key. Once the image has been created, you get rid of the Boot Camp partition, recreate it, and then use the same software to imprint the image onto the larger partition. Source: over 2 years ago
The only supported way of increasing or decreasing the storage allocated to the Boot Camp partition is to delete and recreate it using Boot Camp Assistant. If you want to increase or decrease the size, you must re-run Boot Camp Assistant, delete and then recreate the partition, then reinstall Windows. Alternatively, you can use WinClone to create a disk image of the Windows partition for backup/restore purposes, while in macOS, and skip the reinstall and just expand the image to the larger/smaller partition.
