Wallset brings the keyboard-first experience of Linux Rofi wallpaper switchers to macOS. A global shortcut opens a native visual grid where users can browse local collections, discover image and video wallpapers from four sources, and switch their desktop without interrupting their workflow.
Wallset prioritizes speed and the switching experience rather than functioning only as a wallpaper catalogue. It combines local collections, online discovery, image and video support, menu-bar access and native transitions in one focused Mac app. The core app is free, with an optional one-time Pro upgrade and no subscription.

I always liked the custom Rofi wallpaper switchers people create for Linux: press a shortcut, see a clean visual grid and switch instantly. I wanted that same experience on my Mac but couldnโt find anything that felt quite right, so I built Wallset. It became my first release on the Mac App Store.
Wallset is built natively for macOS using Swift, SwiftUI, AppKit and Appleโs media and desktop APIs. Development and distribution are handled through Xcode and the Mac App Store.
