But, but... it's for the kids! (except for when the kids are being shot, then we don't give a shit). It's so insanely transparent and obvious that legislators (on both sides of the aisle, but definitely one side more than the other these days) use 'kid safety' as an excuse to push through distracting and fascist state style policies. Same thing that was happening in 1930 Germany. I'm re-reading The Rise and Fall... Source: 10 months ago

Vote.org is also currently challenging Georgia’s “wet signature” requirement for mail-in voting applications and Texas’ “wet signature” requirement for voter registration. In all three lawsuits, the plaintiffs argue that this rule — which may disenfranchise otherwise eligible voters who lack access to a printer — violates the Materiality Provision of the Civil Rights Act, which prohibits denying “the right of any... Sadly reading most of the comments. What are we going to do about it? Seriously. Are we going to just roll over and say "Yes Sir, please raise my rent even more Sir"? It's obscene. This isn't capitalism, it's pure greed! The only way we will ever stop this is at the ballot box. We have to elect legislators who will establish rent control if the corporate owners will not show restraint in their greed. Sure,... Source: over 1 year ago

And here’s something else, for all those young people voting for the first time, we are all a bit nervous that we will look dumb if we don’t know all the ins and outs. Bring your id, 3 utility bills or cable or whatever you’ve got with your name and address on the ENVELOPE or bill (if your id has your current address you don’t need the bills), go to vote.org for info, and finally get angry and just go do it. You... Source: over 1 year ago
But can we agree then that if they used those absentee ballots to vote for those who werent dead and also weren't voters (like a bedridden family member, kids that arent interested in politics but are of voting age) the only thing stopping those stolen identity votes from counting is a forged signature?
