Https://volt.fm Can't really call it a side project, though, as I'm working on it full-time. - Source: Hacker News / 3 months ago
I'll do a proper Show HN very soon, but for anyone who's interested in viewing their detailed Spotify stats, you can use https://volt.fm. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
For 3 years I have been using Last.fm and its clearly the best. But recently I found volt.fm for Spotify, that gives you your all time Spotify stats without the need of scrobbling, just connecting your profile. Source: over 1 year ago
With Super Stats, volt.fm now continuously monitors your played music and uses that to calculate and present you with lots of cool stats, such as the number of times you've played a song and your listening patterns (https://volt.fm/soheilpro). Source: over 1 year ago
Volt.fm is pretty good too (and free), but not as comprehensive and it's the same semi-inaccurate data that Spotify uses for stuff like Spotify Wrapped and such, but still a nice way to see who your top artists, tracks, genres, etc. are! Source: almost 2 years ago
You can do stats.fm or volt.fm. I prefer volt because it shows your top 100 tracks, artists, albums. I'm slightly fanatical about stats. Source: almost 2 years ago
That's true!! That's why my volt.fm stats are slightly skewed lol, apparently I accidentally saved the songs to my master playlist from both -- 6 from one, and 5 from the other -- and therefore both copies are ranking in my Top 10 right now lol (as #8 and #9). Source: almost 2 years ago
I use volt.fm and this is the current ranking thus far based on listening data (numbers are the placement on the Top 100 most-listened-to of all time chart). Source: almost 2 years ago
This is a website called volt.fm! You just have to link your Spotify account to it, and it analyzes all of your listening data, breaking it up into different sections like Top Artists, Genres, Albums, etc. Source: almost 2 years ago
I'm rolling the dice. I have 5+ "apps" connected to my Spotify, and skiley.net is my favorite. volt.fm is another good one. Source: almost 2 years ago
Volt.fm! It's for Spotify users. You just link your account and it breaks up all your listening data into categories such as Top Album, Top Songs, etc.! Source: almost 2 years ago
According to my volt.fm Top 10 of the past 4 weeks (I bolded any SM(F)S tracks):. Source: almost 2 years ago
I just got both last.fm (and volt.fm, seemed really interesting) so thank you :). Source: almost 2 years ago
Depends too strongly on my mood to give any one answer. Just wanted to plug https://volt.fm which showcases your weekly/monthly/3 months etc Spotify stats. Basically like a continuous Spotify wrapped. Anyway, it's telling me I've listened to https://open.spotify.com/track/3zP637xJUJqswx5WegrKqI?si=KZORvO2nSX-o84qcByfdPg the most over the last 4 weeks. I know there are some cool tools people use with Spotify. A personal favorite of mine is volt.fm, but was curious if folks have any other favorite 3rd-party tools to enhance their Spotify experience? Source: about 2 years ago
Congrats on the stats! Not sure how volt.fm and others runs their stats but I'm please to know that on another platform I'm ranked as a top TOPS listener All time! Source: over 2 years ago
I thought it was because they don't want your Christmas records to mess up your stats, but it could be that it takes them from early November until early December to produce Spotify Wrapped (December seems to be totally ignored). To get a more complete picture, I use Last.fm and volt.fm as I have more than one streaming service. Volt.fm is good if you only use Spotify, as it Spotistats. Source: over 2 years ago
Last ditch effort: try some 3rd party apps for recommendations? Thinking: volt.fm, smores. Source: over 2 years ago
You can also use https://volt.fm for this. And it currently has 337,502 playlists indexed. Disclaimer: I've built this. - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago
There are tools like https://stats.fm/, which operate off of spotify's open API, but the API and therefore the tools only gives rank and not exact counts. Also, the ranks across tools seems inconsistent (compare https://stats.fm/, https://skiley.net/, https://volt.fm/, etc) not to mention the drastic difference between last.fm and these tools, in part because they use different artist databases.
