Most flipbook tools take a PDF and animate a page curl over it. Visisona builds an actual 3D book in WebGL — you can rotate it, zoom it, and see the page bend as it turns, with realistic lighting and material finishes on the covers.
The bigger difference is video.pages can play a video of up to 120 seconds inside the book itself. A restaurant menu shows the dish being plated; a yacht brochure walks you through the cabin. That is not something a PDF-based flipbook can do.
It also generates content: describe a page and Google's Gemini and Veo models produce the image or video and drop it straight onto the 3D page.
