  I use virtualpostmail.com to receive all my physical mail in the USA. There might be a very rare instance where an institution would demand a residential address and you either ditch them or make sure you can have a separate mailing address on file and give them a family or past address as the residential (since any mail they send will go to your mailing address anyway).   I have a PMB (I've tried https://virtualpostmail.com/ and https://earthclassmail.com/) and never receive any junk mail. They either scan your mail to PDF, or forward it to another address.
