VidSaar is an AI-powered video summarization tool designed for Indian students. Paste any YouTube lecture URL and get a structured summary, AI-generated flashcards, and multiple-choice quizzes, in Hindi, Hinglish, Tamil, Bengali, Telugu, or any of 20 supported languages. What makes VidSaar different: 7 exam-specific modes (JEE, NEET, UPSC, CAT, GATE, Class 10, Class 12) that customize flashcards and quiz questions to match actual exam patterns. A doubt solver AI tutor answers follow-up questions about any summarized video. Spaced repetition with the SM-2 algorithm helps students retain concepts long-term. Students can also upload recorded lectures (up to 2GB) for transcription and summarization. Export summaries as PDF or Markdown. Share summaries via public links with full social media previews. Pricing is built for Indian students: free tier includes 3 lifetime summaries, token packs start at ₹149 ($3.99), and Pro is ₹499/month ($9.99). Payments via UPI, Razorpay (India), and Paddle (international). Built by Sunny, a solo non-technical founder from Nashik, Maharashtra, entirely using AI development tools. VidSaar fills a gap that NotebookLM, NoteGPT, and Eightify have ignored: Hindi/regional language support, Indian exam awareness, and affordable INR pricing.

VidSaar is the only AI video summarizer built specifically for Indian students. While tools like NotebookLM, NoteGPT, and Eightify are English-first and USD-priced, VidSaar offers:
No other tool combines Hindi video summarization, Indian exam awareness, and student-friendly pricing in one product.
If you're an Indian student, the answer is simple — VidSaar was built for you; competitors weren't.
VidSaar gives you 3 free summaries to try, supports Hinglish lectures (the way Indian teachers actually teach), generates exam-pattern MCQs, and costs as little as ₹149 for 20 summaries. If you study from YouTube in Hindi or Hinglish, VidSaar is the only tool that actually understands your content.
Indian students preparing for competitive exams and college semesters, specifically:
Most of these students study from YouTube in Hindi or Hinglish, use smartphones as their primary device, and operate on tight budgets. They need tools priced in rupees, not dollars.
Secondary audience: working professionals and developers who learn from YouTube tutorials.
I'm Sunny, a non-technical solo founder from Nashik, Maharashtra. VidSaar was born from a frustration every Indian student knows: watching a 3-hour lecture at 2x speed and remembering nothing the next day.
I noticed something nobody was solving: Indian students watch lectures in Hinglish (a mix of Hindi and English), but every AI study tool only works in English. NotebookLM, NoteGPT, and Eightify, none of them understand how Indian coaching teachers actually teach.
I built VidSaar entirely using AI development tools (Claude Code) without writing code myself. The goal was simple: help students turn long video lectures into structured study material in the language they actually think in, at a price they can actually afford.
We're bootstrapped, zero funding, and focused on building the best video study tool for Indian students.
