We want to do a day trip from Naxos to Mykonos and Delos. But when I looked at getyourguide.com or viator.com, all the day trips on the dates that we wanted had already been booked. Also, from what I read, these sites do not really offer tours, it is basically boat tickets to go to these islands. Source: almost 3 years ago
We used viator.com for many of our excursions. Most of the ones you find on RCCL are available on Viator but at a lower price. Be aware you may have to arrange your own transportation but we booked our excursions with shuttle included so we didn't have to deal with Taxis/Uber. Source: about 3 years ago
I've never used Trip Advisor to book tours, but I have had good experiences with viator.com. Haven't used it to book anything in Norway though, but it worked well in Spain and Scotland. Source: about 3 years ago

Can anyone recommend any experience that fits the bill in Capri or the Amalfi Coast in general? I would love to surprise my mom with something special. I've looked on viator.com but didn't find anything. I appreciate all of the help! Source: over 3 years ago
We will be landing at GIG airport - what is the recommended transfer from GIG to our hotel in Leblon? We heard that Uber does not pick-up passengers directly at the airport. Other than Uber we are considering prepaying for a private airport-hotel transfer off a company through Viator.com. We are aware not to take ride offers from strangers offering such services. Your best bet would be to see what is available through viator.com. Source: over 3 years ago
Since our trip is quite short due to other work-related commitments, we are planning to use the Freewalks (https://www.buenosairesfreewalks.com/4-day-itinerary-in-buenos-aires/) tours. Are those any good? Another option would be the viator.com tours. We'll definitely visit Recoleta, Center and San Telmo, La Boca, and Palermo. I am guessing these are safe areas during the day? Given our schedule (Thursday -... Source: almost 4 years ago
I would also suggest visit viator.com to look at any day trips you want to go on (I did the Kent area one that included Canterbury Cathedral, White Cliffs of Dover/Dover Beach, and Leeds Castle for about $100, packed lunch was included). Also recommend taking the Jack The Ripper Tour (it's like $15 USD). Source: almost 4 years ago
You can try viator.com, they're legit, a trip advisor company for cheap wedding deals. Also go to the online travel company called vegas.com, for all things related to a Las Vegas vacation/wedding plans, they can get you multiple quotes based on your budget, they have a good reputation, been in business for over 20 years. Disney solo is fine and all but way more fun with a partner or family. I'd recommend renting a car or ubering to the coast. You can do Newport, Balboa, Huntington Beach and Laguna in a day or two. Catalina for the day is nice if you've never been. There are LA day tours available from Anaheim that will hit up the major spots. I travel a lot to different cities and usually rent a car, lookup the best... Source: about 4 years ago
My wife and I had our first trip to Italy last summer and we we're having the same issue as you. Luckily we stumbled upon viator.com which is a trip advisor website exclusively for tours/attractions/experiences. We were very happy with the 4 excursions we booked on there. Source: about 4 years ago

Viator, an entity under the TripAdvisor umbrella, is recognized as a prominent player in the tourism industry, specifically specializing in tours and experiences booking. As it stands in the market, public opinion reflects a mixture of satisfaction, reliability concerns, and occasional disappointment, detailed as follows:
One of Viator's most significant strengths is its extensive range of tour offerings, accessible to travelers across destinations like London, Florence, Barcelona, and New York City, among others. This versatility is frequently lauded, as demonstrated by mentions in articles such as 'The 9 Best Travel Itinerary Apps for Booking Activities, Tours, and More,' which highlight over 200,000 available activities through the platform. Users value the convenience of finding a wide variety of tours consolidated in one location.
The platform's integration with TripAdvisor ensures a level of trust and authority, often mentioned by users who appreciate the robust review system it incorporates. Additionally, Viator's policy on cancellations and competitive pricing provides assurance for many users, aligning with mentions that highlight the availability of lower-priced excursions compared to other platforms like those offered by Royal Caribbean Cruise Line (RCCL).
User experiences are varied, though largely positive. Viator is often the go-to for travelers seeking organized day trips or unique tours, with many users appreciating its ability to offer comprehensive tour packages inclusive of transportation, especially in international destinations. The coordination of tours such as Italy excursions and Caribbean junket activities reflect Viator's ability to facilitate seamless travel experiences, with users acknowledging its role in stress-free trip planning.
The mention of the platform's integration with travel agencies further establishes its reputation as a reliable outlet for diverse tour options that can enrich travel experiences, appreciated by both solo travelers and agencies alike. Such are the experiences recounted in forums and blogs where users confidently recommend Viator for planning tailored itineraries.
Despite its strengths, there are occasional frustrations with availability and variety, as noted in cases where users could not find desired tours or experiences for specific dates or destinations. For instance, attempts to book excursions from Naxos to Mykonos highlight limitations in slot availability or the offering of experiences that do not meet user expectations, such as simple boat tickets instead of guided tours.
Some users express slight caution regarding booking through Viator in specific regions, such as Norway, referencing website limitations or preferring direct bookings with local providers. Nevertheless, these remarks are not prevalent enough to overshadow the largely positive sentiment surrounding Viator's services.
Viator's reputation as a reliable tour-booking platform is underlined by its extensive offerings and seamless integration with TripAdvisor, making it an appealing choice for both travelers and travel agents aiming for a comprehensive and cost-effective approach to itinerary planning. While it holds a strong market position, continued improvements in availability and user experience personalization will further solidify its standing in the travel industry.
