I think vector magic is the current state of the art: https://vectormagic.com/?=20 No one seems to have tried to leverage deep learning yet; either because they haven't thought of doing so, or it just wouldn't be worthwhile. Image to SVG's are an inherently deterministic task, with not much room for the noisy error of most deep learning models like stable diffusion and such. I think algorithmic approaches... - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
The best pixel to vector is still vectormagic. They are on it since at least 2009 and have a native desktop app. I am not affiliated but just a bit flabbergasted that they are still so far ahead. https://vectormagic.com/. - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
This is the most impressive raster to vector I have seen: https://vectormagic.com Vtracer doesn't seem to do as well. - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
I'm a graphic designer and Vector Magic[1] still is my gold standard for vectorizing logos. Expensive but worth it. [1] https://vectormagic.com/. - Source: Hacker News / about 2 years ago
When it comes to converting PNG images to SVG, Vector Magic stands out as a reliable tool with a long-standing reputation. While Vector Magic is not free, its automatic vectorization capabilities have made it a go-to choice for many designers and developers. Itโs worth noting that it also supports other raster image formats like JPG, BMP, and GIF. With a few simple steps, you can convert bitmap images to... - Source: dev.to / over 2 years ago

I understand what's needed but I have zero know-how. I know there are tools to convert image to vectors (even free websites like this one https://vectormagic.com/) but whether that's the way to do it? No idea. Source: almost 3 years ago
There are lots of tools to convert a bitmap image (which infinite painter makes) into a vector image. On ios and mac, you can use vectornator. Barring more professional tools like adobe illustrator, there are also websites like https://vectormagic.com. Source: about 3 years ago
Try vectormagic.com ... I've had good success with that in the past. Source: about 3 years ago
Bro, just upload it to https://vectormagic.com/ scale it up as large as you want and snip it with Window's screen snipping tool. No need to buy the image. Source: about 3 years ago
You are going to need vector magic or some other software like it https://vectormagic.com. Source: about 3 years ago
It's so much better to do "raster to vector conversion" (More accurate, so a box can be a box without fillets, have color etc.) Inkscape can do it for free the tool is called "trace bitmap", or illustrator's "image trace", or there's tools online like "vector magic". Source: about 3 years ago
For years I've used a program called Vector Magic to auto-trace raster logos and convert them to vector. It works well, but it is deficient in some areas like gradients and small details, and they haven't really updated it since 2009. Source: about 3 years ago
Go oo vectormagic.com and upload it there to process to vector. Results are very good. Source: over 3 years ago
Very nice, almost there. ๐ (Nobody will actually notice but the L in Festival is not aligned with the s of foodies. Maybe add some food to the left of the plate so it's a bit more balanced. Maybe delete the shadow under the plate and create a new very simple shadow. I looked at the strawberry and its a bit bland because it's missing the yellow specks.
