Quick help today: https://www.craftbeer.com/beer/beer-styles-guide this website is really handy. I used to run a craft beer bar and was used to taking on staff and managers who had no idea. Most important is to taste everything that comes in. The difference between American, German and Belgian beers are worlds apart. Understand what is a pale ale then advance that with IPA, DIPA, NEIPA (hazy), what is a sour,... Source: over 1 year ago
Sometimes, you can be lucky enough to find Cascade Pure, but I don't see anywhere near Sydney shown on Untappd right now. Source: over 1 year ago

I'm doing some research. Some of you might know Untappd, a geosocial networking app for discovering and sharing (craft)beer. You can check-in and rate beers, share posts (with an optional photo) with your friends, keep track of your favourite beers, and collect badges with your check-ins. Source: over 1 year ago
There is untappd which can be used to store which beers you had. Is there a similar app for other drinks? Untappd only keeps tracks of beer. Source: almost 2 years ago
Thanks! I love that idea. By the way, for inspiration purposes, here are other similar review aggregators that I personally use for my other vices: - Vivino for wines - Untappd for beers - Distiller for other spirits - TobaccoReviews for dark leaf. Source: almost 2 years ago
If you're serious about tracking your beers, check out Untappd. Source: about 2 years ago
Untappd is pretty good in the same space - https://untappd.com/ Kind of like Foursquare for beer. - Source: Hacker News / about 2 years ago

There not much imported craft beer, but you can always search beers on untapped to see if they're available anywhere in SF. Source: over 2 years ago
Not all of the breweries sell their beer in stores, and the ones that do don't have anywhere near their entire selection available outside of the brewery. I'd suggest getting something like the https://untappd.com app, as most (if not all) of the local breweries have their beer selections on there. Source: almost 3 years ago
Try the app Untappd. You can search for the beer and see where in Brussels people have "checked in" with it. Source: almost 3 years ago
Untappd usually has decent ratings, but they're habitually lower than I score them. If you have the app, it's really easy to look up beers. There are lots of people that give low scores for personal preference vs style integrity. "1 star, I don't like lagers" type reviews. If there are a lot of reviews, it sorta averages out, and with experience you get a feel for how your ratings relate to the overall scoring... Source: almost 3 years ago
I can’t speak much to the gardening, every time I try I kill my plants or they don’t produce. (Unless it’s squash and tomatoes) Beer is what I know. Everyone says Creature Comforts and Terrapin, but there’s also Athentic, Akademia, Southern Brewing, Normaltown Brewing, and if you wanna take a weekend trip to West Georgia(~2 hrs), Wild Leap Brewing is my absolute favorite. In town, Akademia and Southern get my vote... Source: about 3 years ago
