If you want the best bang for your buck I'd skip the dygma and the ergodox ez and go straight for the UHK (https://ultimatehackingkeyboard.com/). Source: 11 months ago
I could've tried a non-ortholinear split keyboard like Ultimate Hacking Keyboard instead of Moonlander (from the same manufacturer as Ergodox EZ which was already mentioned here). I suppose it would be better in some aspects (for working with multiple languages which have more characters than English with frequent switching between them). But then I definitely wouldn't have experimented with this keyboard as much... Source: 11 months ago
If you're okay with a split layout, check out the UHK 60 v2 with the trackpoint module. It's the best thought out programmable keyboard I've ever used. I have it with the white box switches, the keypad module on the left, and the trackpoint module on the right; I also have the roller ball module, but strongly prefer the trackpoint one. What keyboard / layout do you use to get the arrow keys? I have a Ultimate Hacking Keyboard (https://ultimatehackingkeyboard.com/) and while the arrow keys are easily accessible, they require pressing a modifier. This is fine and dandy for simple usage, but I happen to do do a bunch of more complicated stuff: ctrl + arrow to go to start/end of line, ctrl + alt for words, all of this + shift for selection.... - Source: Hacker News / 12 months ago
I use the UHK. [1] It offers programmable key layers, including a mouse key layer. That combined with apps like Shortcat [2] and I haven’t needed an actual mouse or trackpad in months. That said, UHK offers thumb track pad and track ball modules if you just can’t give it up. [1] https://ultimatehackingkeyboard.com/ [2] https://shortcat.app/. - Source: Hacker News / 12 months ago

That thing is crazy looking. I bought an Ultimate Hacking Keyboard (UHK) that I've had for 10ish months, and it's freaking amazing. Split keyboards are the way and having multiple layers for macros and whatnot are a game changer. Source: 12 months ago
The Ultimate Hacking Keyboard looks like a slightly less usable keyboard vs. The Dygma, but it does have a trackpoint module (but only a two button version). I haven't tried it though. Source: about 1 year ago
I use the UHK keyboard which has butter smooth home row keys mouse movement so I never need a mouse anyway. https://ultimatehackingkeyboard.com/. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
Https://ultimatehackingkeyboard.com/ I don’t use it and know little about the project, I just remembered that it’s a split keyboard with an optional trackpoint attachment. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
So far the only two I have found are the Dygma Raise and the Ultimate Hacking keyboard. The former has subpar placement of the thumb cluster (IMO) in order to enable connecting the two halves, and the latter only offers a thumb cluster as a module for the left-hand side of the keyboard. Depending on what you put under "ergonomic", you could take a look at the Ultimate Hacking keyboard: https://ultimatehackingkeyboard.com/ (split, ISO layout & mechanical switches, not wireless however). - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago

40+. Have been viming since 1999-2000. SublimeText + vim mode has been my weapon of choice since like 2012-2013. It works out of the box and is the most compatible with my muscle memory (tried VSCode's vim emulation, RealVim, PyCharm's vim mode — hell, it's 120 chars per line by default). Onivim2 seemed promising but it's still not there. What I really like in Vim is not Vim itself, but modal editing, mouse-free... - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
It's a plastic outer case. It's really light Wright. The mouse pad and the three extra keys are detachable and you can connect the board to make it a normal one. You can find it here https://ultimatehackingkeyboard.com for more info. Source: over 1 year ago
