  You can ask for it, but you can track people down using a site like truthfinder.com without a social security number. It's very easy if they have an unusual name. If it's a name like John Smith you will pull up a lot of people, but typically can find the right person if you know relatives names and prior addresses. Source: about 2 years ago

  One more thing, I tried some of those "search a missing person" type of websites, most of them don't find anything, but one of the most scammiest sites found somebody under this name and the age is correct. • Why did I get a popup?

  I was downloading something from mediafire.com when I got a popup that brought me to a website called truthfinder.com. I did a scan on my pc and I scanned the files and I don't have a virus. Was I just clumsy and misclicked an ad on the side or does media fire give people viruses or popups or can Norton miss viruses?
