Hey, was using yfinance up until a month ago and switched over to tradier , I only started to learn to code a couple of months ago, so aside from overcoming the hurdle of formatting JSON responses, it's so much better than yfinance. 100% recommend it after spending far too many hours finding a free alternative to yfinance for options tables etc. Source: about 5 years ago

My biggest hesitation was "but I'm not an investment advisor and becoming a brokerage seems really hard and I'm only semi-literate". What I am, though, is a damn good web application developer (10+ years now, oh god I'm getting old), and so I started evaluating API-based brokerages.
