• So, I noticed that store content doesn't load through EA Desktop, so I decided to see if I could get any help with this. The support advisor I got was very nice and helpful, but sadly is looks like when Origin is shut down, I won't be able to use store content, including worlds, despite having disc.

  I read most of the comments here and only Origin users will be forced to EA App and..the store contents may not downloadable? Because currently, I'm not using Origin to play the sims 3. My game is installed by DVDs all. So it's likely the patch version 1.67 would be safe with the store contents, right? I can install all store contents from thesims3.com without origin. • Why is it so hard

  You don't need the Origin to send any online gift but you should be the registered member of thesims3.com I can still send any online present even though my game is installed by DVDs, but usually play offline for the better game performance. Source: over 1 year ago

• I bought simpoints for the Midnight Hollows world, but I haven't got the simpoints yet after 20ish minutes of waiting, also for some reason on thesims3.com purchase history i have 2 of them, but i can't download.

• Sims3.com Register a Game - CD key from Steam "invalid"

  I bought Sims 3 on Steam some years ago and only go around to using thesims3.com now, I try to register my name with the CD key but it just says "invalid code", I went onto EA livechat support who told me to go to Steam support, but I can't speak to anyone as I have registered it in order to actually play the game. • Can't log in to thesims3.com, it just takes me to registration page? Also - Simpoints? HOW???

  So, I decided screw the simpoints, I'll just try to find some free items to download. I found a page that linked to some free things, so I tried that but it's asking me to log in to thesims3.com.   So, I wanted to download the CAW-tool via thesims3.com, but before I can download it, it wants me to put in the serial code.   Ohhh, you can buy that from the thesims3.com store with SimPoints. It's not an expansion pack or anything it's just extra content you can add to your game. It's part of a plot that you can add to your map. Source: about 3 years ago
