  • Bill Simmons on Succession
Uh, most of the Succession podcast coverage was Bill (sportsguy), Sean (head of content), CR (editor at theringer.com), Greenwald (Grantland TV critic/showrunner), Joanna (formerly of Vanity Fair) and Big Wos (the only who got the show). Source: 11 months ago
  • Do We Really Need THREE Succession F-word Articles?
I browsed theringer.com today for the first time in a year and laughed out loud at the amount of Succession articles. I love the show, but this is entering A Star Is Born territory. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Anyone fake an interest in sports? And how?
During NFL season, I read the "winners and losers of week xyz" from theringer.com. I am enough of a sports fan (but hate football) that I can then fake it well. Worth a try if you have to pretend you care. Source: about 1 year ago
  • I have a domain name issue affecting my SEO / Same as a UN study
When I started the website the name was thehoopsresource.com and it was specific to basketball.I also started another completely different website thetennisresource.com,. When I figured out I wanted to keep expanding to other topics I liked to write about and do it under one umbrella is when I made the name more universal. I've actually got an unpublished section I'm working on with some music, reality TV etc... Source: over 1 year ago

  • Titus talking to Bryan Curtis: “I mean this sincerely, he is one of 2 or 3 people at the Ringer that I respect”
Sure, but he's an excellent writer and his pieces are very insightful. They're not getting read at theringer.com. Source: about 2 years ago
  • Genuinely curious where people would expect a full-time starter Drew Lock to rank in the NFL next season
" 3. Has the player had enough opportunity—with proper scheme, coaching, and personnel—to show whether he is a QB you can consistently compete with? The exact time frame needed to answer this question differed among the folks I spoke with, but the ballpark seemed to be around 45 starts, or about three seasons’ worth. That number dovetails nicely with the practical realities of most young QB contracts. Players on... Source: about 3 years ago
  • New R2C2: Gary Sánchez on Catching CC and Becoming a Ve‪t‬

  • The Ringer Podcast Network is a Success. Their Website is Not.
That being said, what is on theringer.com that actually draws people in? Mays had the best content on the site but that is now gone. KOC's draft guide is probably the only thing written on the website that gets any traction. Really the only written piece that has ever gotten traction was the Colangelo burner story. The articles promoted on their twitter feed, which has almost 530,000 followers, rarely get more... Source: about 3 years ago
