  • Second-hand website for luxury clothes that ships in Europe?
I browsed on therealreal.com but they don't ship in my country unfortunately. Any suggestions? Source: 6 months ago
  • Any website that sells new Purple Label suits for 70% off?
If youre not opposed to secondhand, therealreal.com its designer consignment and for things like ralph lauren purple label its way more than 70% off retail. Source: 10 months ago
  • The most frivolous thing I’ve ever seen
I am confused by this post nobody ever heard of therealreal.com or other websites where people sell used luxury items? Source: 11 months ago
  • Is my friend conning me?
Recently my gf is telling me to buy many items from https://therealreal.com/. Source: 11 months ago
  • Good places for prom dresses? My daughter prefers sleek evening dresses not poofy ball gowns. Last year she wore a suit with a bustier. This year she wants a dress.
I found my daughter's prom dress on therealreal.com. Same thing, she didn't want the standard issue poof. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Rotating Proxy Service Recommendation
Can anyone recommend good but not much expensive proxy service? I have this website and it is constantly giving 403 which blocks my scraper every 8 request out of 10 is getting 403 and I am trying to mitigate it through better proxy plan so if anyone have any recommendation please suggest. I have tried scraperapi, packetstream, webshare those doesn't seems to be working. Thank you. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Well-Made Plus-Size Clothes Recommendations?
Seconding Universal Standard and adding the following: MMLeFleur; Lord & Taylor; Quince; Ralph Lauren (plus line); and if you're into resale, check out therealreal.com and filter by size. They have some really nice pieces and it also gives you more ideas for other labels you might not know of! Then go to Ebay and try to find them for cheaper. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Where to buy used?
Some reputable consignment/resell sites would be Tradesy.com or therealreal.com. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Help! I have too many clothes. I feel paralyzed. This is 60% of what I have. I love fashion and worked as a stylist. I don’t know what to do with the things I no longer wear. Most of the stuff I want to get rid of is good quality mid-range brands like Kate Spade. Selling seems overwhelming.
If your clothing is extremely high end, The RealReal. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Is there a good way to source this discontinued ring? I’m not sure if there is much of a secondary market for these but I’m not seeing much on eBay, Etsy, or any retailers. If I do find something online, are these often counterfeited?
Unfortunately it becomes a waiting game to see if someone has one in your size in good condition to list on Ebay. Authenticity should always be a concern since there's thousands of fakes listed there. You can look on therealreal.com as well. They will be a much more reliable source since they authenticate all consignments before being listed. Source: about 2 years ago
  • Is there a way to index products and search by size specs on therealreal?
Not sure if this is the right place to post this question but I am very into buying second-hand clothing from this website therealreal.com. With each product (like pants for example), you can click and see the specs (inseam, waist size, etc). What I would like more than ANYTHING is to be able to filter all the pants and only look at the ones with my exact measurements, because im a tall gal and it's hard to find... • I made my son's teacher look like an asshole and it felt great
There are so many now. I buy and consign with therealreal.com pretty often. Source: over 2 years ago
  • How do you deal with clothes sizes dropping?
I made the mistake of buying new stuff at first and too early. I did 50% off a goodwill until I knew I was about done and now clothes are my vice! I used to HAVE to shop at DXL (Fat Tax King) or Penny's with terrible choices. Now I buy really good stuff and one of the best parts of this is knowing I can walk into any clothes store and they have stuff. I just discovered therealreal.com and it is dangerous. • Breaking up with fast fashion - what does it mean to you?
I've had the same issue working in a pretty traditional corporate environment. What has worked for me is shopping secondhand sites like TheRealReal for suiting and workwear basics like silk blouses, wool blazers and cotton shift dresses. The brands on TheRealReal may not be sustainable but buying secondhand isn't contributing to the fast fashion cycle. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • People of /r/Albany who wear feeeeemale clothes
My wife is 35 and gets a lot of stuff from therealreal.com Online consignment of mid, high, and luxury, (both brand and quality) clothing and accessories at super big discounts. And you can try it on and send it back if it doesn't fit. The prices can get really high on some of the luxury brands, but the discounts can be really good. Source: about 3 years ago

Why Competitor Poshmark May Be The RealReal And ThredUp’s Best Friend In Exploding Resale Market
Ultimately Poshmark’s heavy-lifting in the awareness department may be a blessing for both ThredUp and The RealReal. After a few times a person does all the work on the back end to make a sale –or not make a sale if the price isn’t right or the description fails – my guess is that people looking to get in on the resale action may quickly turn to the frictionless and more convenient alternative that ThredUp and The...
How to Sell Your Clothes Online So That You Actually Make Some Money

The Best Online Resale Sites
The RealReal is still the mother of all luxury resale sites. The consignment process is easy: If you have 10 or more items to sell and live in a qualifying city, the site will send someone to pick up your stuff for you. If you don’t meet that criteria, The RealReal will send you a pre-paid shipping label and mailer to pack up your items. They accept designer women’s, men’s, and kids’ clothing (you can see the full...
