Social recommendations and mentions

We have tracked the following product recommendations or mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you see what people think about The Eye and what they use it for.
  • Why YC Went to DC
Closest to this would be https://www.eleuther.ai whose training data is largely public and training processes are openly discussed, planned, and evaluated on their Discord server. Much of their training dataset is available at https://the-eye.eu (their onion link is considered "primary", however, due to copyright concerns). - Source: Hacker News / about 2 years ago
  • GPT-4 Details Leaked
    - https://pile.eleuther.ai/ (data hosted by https://the-eye.eu/, where it's not too hard to find pirated, copyrighted books, e.g. https://the-eye.eu/public/Books/cdn.preterhuman.net/texts/literature/). - Source: Hacker News / about 3 years ago
  • Community Shared Drive Changes & Issues
Have you considered asking https://the-eye.eu/ or archive.org to host? Jason Scott on Twitter can probably connect you. Or ask his Archive Team via IRC? Source: about 3 years ago
  • Information is currently available.
Doesnt matter, they cant take down the links to the-eye.eu Stable Diffusion specifically:. Source: about 3 years ago
  • Decent archive of PSP iso direct download

  • Preserving Reckful's legacy: Seeking help to save his older VODs
Hey, I made the thread on /r/DataHoarder back then and got the help there to download all VODs. The website was https://the-eye.eu but I don't think they host the Reckful Vods anymore. I downloaded everything (about 10TB) back then and have it stored on an external hard drive. If you can provide the storage, I can upload with 40mbits, so everything would take a while and specific things first would help. Source: over 3 years ago
  • where to find 3DS Roms?
I'm trying to use Citra, and I'm not sure where to find safe Roms. I've seen old posts recommending the-eye.eu, but the page for 3DS roms appears to be down for whatever reason. Source: over 3 years ago
  • Not sure if this has been posted beforeโ€ฆ thoughts? I believe this could be extremely accurate, possibly has happened 5 or 6 times
I did. Not all, of course, but a fair number of the ones I could find for free. Might I also suggest using https://the-eye.eu/ for tracking down some of the harder to find articles and works. Use the Harvard records as a reading list. Source: over 3 years ago
  • How to create a public data server?
I have a repository of games and whatnot I want my friends to be able to access remotely. How do I create a public address (similar to the-eye.eu or what you'd find on r/opendirectories) to access a specific folder of content on my NAS? Source: over 3 years ago
  • The Uranium Lodge - Weekend Edition!
Used to get all my rom from here the eye https://the-eye.eu/. They had some server issues but I think you can go in discord to see. Looks like they haven't restored it all yet. Source: over 3 years ago

  • [D]: How safe is it to just use a strangers Model?
I dont trust HuggingFace's library implementation of it, but the Pretrained weights are officially avialable by EleutherAI at the-eye.eu I'ts .npz files. Source: almost 4 years ago
  • Any links for board games?
Https://the-eye.eu/ is the place for D&D books after the trove died IMO. Not 100% sure they have everything but, there is a lot. I can only link to top level but you just have to find the book section, then the rpg section. Then you should be golden. Source: about 4 years ago
  • Pirate Library Mirror: Preserving 7TB of books (that are not in Libgen)
This project kind of reminds me of "the eye" [1] which had a _huge_ collection of computer science and hacking related books. Somewhere around last year they had datacenters burning down due to a natural disaster, but I'm hoping they can recover. It's an amazing project. • The Eye MSDN Archive
This is my first post here & I just wanted to share this find. The MSDN archive hosted at the-eye.eu is no longer available (the site had a hardware failure some time ago). • Is there someplace I can get the old coast to coast shows in mp3?
Https://the-eye.eu/ - It is currently going through a big reshuffle, but this archive will have lots of art bell to download once back up. Keep an eye on it. Source: over 4 years ago
  • Windows Vista (32-bit) ISO for 5 cds???
I was looking all over the internet for quite a while now to find the verison of windows vista for 5 cds, but the only thing I could find was a link to the-eye.eu which is down because of some issues, and they don't have any version of windows on it anymore.
