Tasklans is a project management tool for freelancers and small teams: Kanban boards, a timer on every task, work logs and invoices in the same tool, and a Client role that lets each client follow their own projects without seeing your rates. Everything updates in real time. There is no per-seat pricing - the free plan includes ten users, ten projects and ten clients, and Pro will be priced per workspace with up to ten people included.
Everything is free while we're in beta. Invoicing is a Pro feature and opens when paid plans launch. Early users keep their current limits.
Built by one freelancer in Slovakia, in the evenings, over the past year and a half. Stack: Laravel 12, Inertia + React (migrating off Livewire page by page), Laravel Reverb, MySQL, Redis, Docker, on our own servers - a plain VPS, not a hyperscaler.

Most tools in this space charge per user and keep time tracking behind paid tiers; Tasklans is built around the way a freelancer actually works: a few client projects at once, a timer on every task, and clients who want to see progress without a paid seat.
If you run client projects and pay per seat for people who only check the board once a week, Tasklans removes that cost: the free plan includes 10 users, 10 projects and 10 clients, and Pro will be priced per workspace with up to 10 people included. I built Tasklans because running three or four client projects meant a board in one tool, a timer in another and a spreadsheet for invoices - and every one of them charged per seat, even for a client who only wanted to see progress.
