Am I supposed to take any upper level classes? I found some business ethics BUS105 and business communication BUS106 that are cheaper from straighterline.com. Source: over 1 year ago

I am currently in the process of transferring schools from a community college to a traditional 4 year college. In order to get into their nursing program, I must take 4 pre-requests this summer which I have enrolled in on straighterline.com. My big question is do the grades I get affect my overall GPA? I must have a C or higher in order to have these classes qualify for the nursing program but I also need to make... Source: over 1 year ago
WGUs CS program is more accessible on the math track and only requires Calc 1 and Discrete math 1 & 2; which, from some reading, is more logical and generally less difficult than the other math tracks. Someone here mentioned sophia.org , there's also study.com straighterline.com and a few others. Check out the transfer partners page: https://partners.wgu.edu/Pages/Partners.aspx . If you've got an AA or AS it's... Source: over 1 year ago
Depends how many credits you need. I was able to do 26 credits in 22 weeks. I already had English, Algebra and Chemistry when I decided to go to nursing school. Check if the school you are interested in accepts credits from straighterline that can save you a bunch of time. I didnt know about it until I was already accepted in the program. I did mine at https://straighterline.com and it was okay. Check the WGU Partners site to make sure it transfers. You can often find promo codes to skip paying the $59 fee for your first course, but you do still have to pay and/or cancel the monthly fee. Source: over 1 year ago
Hey everyone, I am looking for guidance in accordance to getting started with Cybersecurity and trying to complete everything within 6 months to a year and from what I researched it is best to use study.com and straighterline.com before even enrolling so I can transfer the credit from both parties into the college but is it that simple or is it more that I am missing? Please anything helps. I want to start a new... Source: over 1 year ago
I would like to take some free or cheap online classes to learn to create and deploy a friend-finding app. I'm not really sure where to start. A decade ago, I took a year and a half of computer science classes between community college and 4-year, but the only computer science class I have taken since is an intro to computer science course in C++ at straighterline.com. I feel sorry that the first guide you looked at was not useful for you. I would have hoped the temp agencies listed and the blood plasma company links would have been some use. I have not heard of a U.S. Public education institution not accepting CLEP exams as I have looked through many credit policies of U.S. Colleges and universities and have found CLEP was accepted in each case. It may be, as you said, that... Source: over 2 years ago
Check degreeforum.net for details. There are alot of parents and home schooled kids doing the same thing. This mother seems to think that taking classes on straighterline.com and googling the answers makes her kid some sort of genius. Absurd. Source: over 2 years ago
Lmao. These things are the dumbest. Look up straighterline.com, CLEPS, DSSTS, and go to degreeforum.net for good measure. Source: over 2 years ago
Straighterline.com $100 per month and ~$60 per class. Source: over 2 years ago
My question is, would something like study.com or straighterline.com courses for math (for credit) be "good" enough? I've worked through most of the calculus course on study.com before and I can tell you it is at the very least as good as what I'd experience taking these at a community college. And it seems like GT's concern is your familiarity with the subjects and not necessarily having these for credit on your... Source: almost 3 years ago
