Https://stockanalysis.com uses this method to calculate dividend yield... Add up all the dividends paid in the last 12 months, then divide that number by the stock price to get the yield whereas Nasdaq, CNBC and TDAmeritrade annualize the yield which could show a much higher yield but according to stockanalysis... Stock Analysis has a basic screener that I like. Phil Towne has a decent screener if you are working with his framework. Graham Value has a great one for classic Graham style stocks. There are also some decent free ones. Others will undoubtedly have some excellent suggestions of their own. I’m going to save you a lot of time n effort. Just pay for data; fmpcloud is pretty cheap. Using yahoo is VERY unreliable, they change their page layout(periodically have to remap your endpoints), they can block ur ip, most of all sheets will slow/freeze when you try importing many tickers/data points(you will eventually)The only other option I’ve seen is to parse sec filing yourself.
