I'll have approx 10-20 products, would like to have live inventory, and be able to accept CC payments and initiate shipping labels through USPS or stamps.com type of thing. The idea would be that the functionality of the site minimizes the labor of order fulfillment. I have an etsy store for 4 products and like the way that is done. Unfortunately, the products are probably not appropriate for Shopify or Etsy type... Source: 5 months ago
When I opened up the order history in stamps.com I noticed that there were dupliacte labels purchased for the same order number. Then I went over to shipstation to see if the duplicate shipping label were imported and there was no record of it being there at all. So stamps.com would occasionaly purchase 2-4 labels for one order but only send one of the labels through to shipstaion. Since we never log in to... Source: 5 months ago
I have been very happy with my Shipstation rates, but the incredible customer service I get direct with a UPS rep on my other accounts is second to none. I do hate having to constantly reload a stamps.com balance and I would much prefer invoice billing like I get direct with UPS. Source: 6 months ago
The cost to ship the box is $22.80 (and would be cheaper if you use something like stamps.com) and the 3.43 gallons of pumice would cost $1.67, making your total cost to buy and ship $24.47, which is $7.33/gallon. Source: 10 months ago
My USPS Informed Delivery email says I have a package from stamps.com waiting for me. I didn't order anything from stamps.com. Source: 10 months ago
Stamps.com better be sending the crew to Japan expeditiously. Source: 10 months ago
We use Shipstation’s services to generate labels for orders we receive through our connected e-commerce website, however, we also rely heavily on Shipstation to generate outgoing and return labels for services we provide our customers that are not connected to orders through our site. After years of doing this with no issue, I suddenly keep getting an 'Object reference not set to an instance of an object’ error... Source: 10 months ago
You can use sites like stamps.com (around $20 a month) but the USPS rates are similar to Etsy. On the other hand, which is what I do, I use Stamps for their super cheap 2nd-day air on UPS orders. Most of my items are around $11 to ship. So it comes in clutch when I'm a little late shipping an item and favor a good review over spending a few extra dollars. Source: 11 months ago
I actually had stamps.com "first level" refuse to transfer me. With many companies that getting to be the norm. You used to be able to ask for a supervisor, now first-level's frequently refuse to do even that. I've been doing shipping for 35+ years, been with stamps.com for 12. None of that mattered. I've gotten into a bind. I use stamps.com to generate and pay for USPS labels. I sent a 6x9 3oz flat to Belgium Fist Class International, cost $12.81. USPS's APV (Automated Postage Verification) weighed it incorrectly as 24oz, upgraded it to Priority Mail International (cause of the incorrect weight), and charged me $44.17 extra. They got their money by taking it out of my stamps.com account. USPS has a... Source: 11 months ago
Great point on the ebay shipping options too...that's a huge plus for sure. I was so pumped when I saw that stamps.com allows you to print shipping directly to the envelopes which was great until the trial month expired and they wanted $4.99 / month from you to continue using those features. Fantastic! I'll make an account on stamps.com right now. I wondered how tracking would be handled and you covered it fully. Source: 12 months ago
I thought I'd feel nostalgic for an ad read, but the unceasing inundation of FanDuel ads has made me long for those quaint stamps.com ads presented on the Subway Fresh Take Hotline. Source: 12 months ago
They lost sponsorships because ethan showed the postmaster general the prolapse video and now stamps.com is finally gone forever. Source: about 1 year ago
There is not, the shipment was made through my stamps.com account. Source: about 1 year ago
That's too bad. I don't know for sure, but it appears to me like the stamps.com stamps have unique numbers/barcodes. It would be so much easier than dealing with collecting money from the recipient if the system let postal employees scan the stamp and tell it what it needed to be. Maybe someday. I've read about the automated package verification, where amounts paid for labels on packages are adjusted if the weight or dimensions are wrong. Is a similar thing done for postage on letters or flats that are traceable in origin, like through stamps.com? Is there a way to avoid a recipient getting a postage due and have it billed to me instead, for letters and packages? I'm starting to send some things in... Source: about 1 year ago
Just would like to get the word out here about a potentially fraudulent company, Endicia Internet Postage. Until today I've never heard of this company, and neither I nor my husband have had any business with it. However, three unauthorized charges totaling $109 were made on husband's citibank card in March (two $10 charges by USPS STAMPS ENDICIA, and one $89 by STAMPS.COM). A citibank representative alerted me... Source: about 1 year ago
Where are you adding customers? To your accounting software? EBay provides reports as far as sales go. I only crunch those numbers once a quarter by downloading 3 months' worth of reports. I have a checking account and business credit card dedicated to the business. All of my shipping expenses are charged to the business card. I use stamps.com, it's connected to ebay. Every morning I hit the "import orders"... Source: about 1 year ago
You don't need to do Fedex priority overnight, that is the most expensive option. You should be able to do USPS priority mail. If that doesn't work look on stamps.com or pirate ship, just input the tracking number to confirm shipment. Source: about 1 year ago
