Squadcast is also a new tool for remote podcasting and online recording. The tool is browser-based and is super easy to use: you start a recording right in your browser by registering and creating an account. If you need to invite guests to the meeting, you simply need to share an invitation link. Source: over 1 year ago

We use Squadcast. It’s been super easy for our guests to use. It does cost a monthly fee, though. Source: about 2 years ago
I don't record and switch live. All the editing is done in post. I record via SquadCast, which records all participants locally on their devices, then uploads it to a cloud I can download it from when done. Source: about 2 years ago
We use squadcast.fm to record when we have 3 or 4 people and riverside.fm when we have more than 4. Each participant is recorded locally, so there are no issues with lag or data compression. We were grandfathered in at a low audio-only rate, so neither is too expensive. Zoom audio is not as good, but it works. Source: over 2 years ago
Highly recommend Squadcast (squadcast.fm). I've done 90+ episodes with virtually no issues, and great audio. I don't record video, but they have recently added that as an option if you need it. Source: over 2 years ago

Zachariah, CEO and CTO of SquadCast, had this experience. In episode 3 of the Version One podcast, he talked about an experience he had early on in his career. He was in a position that didn’t allow for much growth. So how was he able to keep his coding skills up to par? - Source: dev.to / almost 3 years ago
However now we want to up the production value a bit for recorded shows. So we can use riverside.fm or squadcast.fm to record the video of each host separately and in better quality. Source: about 3 years ago
Squadcast.fm - not so cheap, but very reliable. Max 4 people in a session. Source: about 3 years ago
