  • Does anyone know how to fix this issue on the steam deck? My friend cannot hear what I'm streaming
Soundux lets you route any audio through your microphone. It's an objectively worse solution as other people can't mute or change volume of the streamed audio without also doing the same thing to your voice. Also you have to turn off Krisp when using this. Source: 11 months ago
  • Soundboard is fun and all, but this is beyond frustrating...
Krisp off, automatic sound barrier off, and just use soundux https://soundux.rocks/ , best soundboard I could find out there. Source: about 1 year ago
  • The year of the Linux desktop is here, and I'm tired of saying its not
Sorry for being three days late, but have you tried using Soundux? It's an app that automatically resolves the lack of audio when doing Discord screensharing on Linux. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Multilayer audio player with audio level control
Giada is a super lightweight looping app that might suit your usecase. Soundux is a soundboard app, but requires some setting up to use. Source: over 2 years ago
  • I can't hear my friends screen-share
If he's on Linux, he can use a handy app called Soundux. It's a soundboard, but it can be used to pull audio output from one app and send it as a microphone input into discord along with his regular mic. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Are there no programs like SLAM or HLDJ for Linux?
Please check out Soundux, and ensure that you have "Use as default device" enabled in the options for Source based games. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Sharing screens with sound is still not supported in Discord for Linux, and it is the only reason I dual-boot Windows. Please upvote the feature request!

  • How to play a mp3 thru a mic (pipewire)
You can do that very straightforward with Soundux(link). It has a nice GUI which lets you mix a song with the mic input and output the mix to a certain app. Source: over 2 years ago
