Some avenues you can consider are sync licensing, becoming a songwriting and selling songs to artists, and doing production gigs freelance on websites like soundbetter.com. Source: 5 months ago
Take a look at soundbetter.com, you can select from any number of engineers and get quotes. It's kind of amazing, might make your search easier. =). Source: 10 months ago
I’ve used https://soundbetter.com for mixing, mastering, and session musicians, but there are tons of producers there as well. Definitely check it out! Source: 11 months ago
You can go check out soundbetter.com, there are lots of arrangers (incl. Me ;) over there and you can see their pricing... Source: 11 months ago
Are you familiar with soundbetter.com? Its a great resource and protected. Source: 12 months ago
As for engineering, soundbetter.com with their SoundCheck service might be worth a shot. Source: about 1 year ago
MIXING/MASTERING: definitely just pay someone to do this for you in the beginning so you can start understanding what its like to release. Either a local engineer you can also record with like I said before, or a place like soundbetter.com if you can send them proper recordings. Every engineer is different though so this part is gonna be hit or miss and its just a part of the process. Source: about 1 year ago
Arturia does sales from time to time, and their upgrade route is pretty dope. Before getting V collection, I think I got Tape Mello-Fi for free as a giveaway, Chorus Jun-6 via Knobcloud for 10$ and Analog Lab Lite as a Soundbetter Member benefit (also free without having to commit to their service). Then got the V Collection 8 during a sale (black friday I guess) for 199$. Last year I also got their FX... Source: about 1 year ago
I have to say that vocal mixing is super difficult, in the professional music business this is often done by a separate mix engineer! So if you're confident about your songs, I wouldn't hesitate to have them mixed professionally. For example soundbetter.com has some pro mixers! It can be expensive, unfortunately. Ozone Elements 9 and Neutron elements 3 should be free via soundbetter.com. Source: over 1 year ago
Some of the people on https://soundbetter.com/ will do critiques. Source: over 1 year ago
If you go for any Arturia deal, there is a way for a great discount by getting Analog Lab intro for free from soundbetter.com (I am not affiliated in any way), and registering it then checking for upgrade offers. Source: over 1 year ago
At least until recently it was free at soundbetter.com. A free membership to the site got me Ozone and Neutron Elements. Check and see if they still offer it. Source: over 1 year ago
The starting point is to get a copy of Analog Lab, which you can apparently get for free by registering on https://soundbetter.com/ (I haven't tried it, I got Analog Lab with my KeyLab controller) then register the product on the Arturia website which should show some "crossgrade" options, bringing Pigments price down to 70 USD and V Collection to 200 USD. At this point, buy Pigments only. Once you have Pigments... Source: over 1 year ago
1) Goto soundbetter.com register for a free account and you get a free license for Analog Lab Intro in your member benefits section. Source: over 1 year ago
If producer I think you should send demo for smaller labels with many ncs artist in it like Magic Music or NomiaTunes. I think it's more easier and contact or dm them on Instagram. If vocalists soundbetter.com is a best place but expensive. Vocalists are : Aleesia, Robbie Rosen, Salvo, Steklo and others. Source: over 1 year ago
Anyone know how to word this request to them? I plan on reaching out to them, but don't want to go in like a bozo. They are also on https://soundbetter.com/, but I'm thinking of working outside of SoundBetter because of what I read in the terms:. Source: almost 2 years ago
I use soundbetter.com for finding vocalists but I wanted to expand my horizons, I'm producing House music and interested in reaching out to up and coming or smaller established indie band vocalists and hiphop artists (as I find they have a unique style so would be fun to work with). Iv tried to find A few before, I found the mastering engineer for the one of the artists Endor, Biscuits ect use but was too busy to help. So really been looking for someone who knows someone who has used them before as I used someone of soundbetter.com before and had super high reviews but ripped me off and just whacked a limiter on all my mixes pretty much and peaked the hell out of them. The thing is.. I actually did. Spent nearly 2k on mastering engineer that I found off soundbetter.com. But once I listend after a few weeks me and close friend said it sounds worse than my version so it put me off spending money on someone. I tried to find the masters of some decent sized artists I liked but they were all to busy to get me booked in:/. Source: about 2 years ago
You can still ask around your local scene, or try soundbetter.com. As you seem to realize, the less established you are, the more money you will likely have to pay. Source: about 2 years ago
