A startup from the Netherlands.
Unified ledger
One ledger for metering, billing, payments, and revenue recognition, instead of four separate systems handed off manually.
Hybrid pricing support
Hybrid pricing in a single contract: seats, usage, credits, and outcome-based fees, mixed and matched per deal.
Automated Quote-to-Cash
A quote becomes a live billing schedule instantly, including multi-year ramps and bespoke enterprise terms.
Usage-Based Billing
Usage metering tied to product data, with conditional pricing rules for API calls, inference cost, or agent actions.
PSP Integrations
PSP-agnostic payments: works with Stripe, Adyen, Checkout.com, plus hosted and custom checkout flows.
Tax Management
Global payments handled natively: multi-currency settlement, built-in tax, VAT, GST, and FX rates.
Revenue Recognition
Revenue recognition built in, so invoices come out correct the first time.
Credits System
Native handling of credit pools, rollovers, mid-cycle plan changes, and split payments, not bolted on later.
ERP Integration
30+ bi-directional integrations across PSPs, ERPs, and CRMs.
MCP Server
MCP and CLI support, so AI agents can configure billing directly instead of going through a UI.
Kotlin on the backend, Kafka, BigQuerhy, Postgres, and recently Clickhouse for event streaming - running on GCP with Kubernetes and Terraform for infrastructure. We also have MCPs and CLIs for Solvimon.
Billing is very very complex, and Solvimon lets you lean into that and monetize the way you want. Most billing tools pick a lane: usage metering, or CPQ, or payments, or revenue recognition. Solvimon runs all of it in one ledger, so a company selling seats plus usage plus credits plus outcome-based pricing doesn't need four systems duct-taped together.
We're built by the team that ran the billing engine at Adyen, at over โฌ1 trillion in processed volume. That background is why we treat complex, tailored, hybrid pricing as the default case, where most tools treat it as an edge case bolted onto a subscription model.
AI-native startups moving fast on usage-based and hybrid pricing (tokens, API calls, agent actions), and larger B2B companies (fintechs, SaaS platforms) with complex enterprise contracts that a standard subscription tool chokes on.
We go from Seed stage to IPO-ready on the same platform.
Solvimon handles the most complex pricing for companies who've outgrown what they had.
If it's a payments-first tool like Stripe Billing, it wasn't built for hybrid enterprise contracts, so you hit walls the moment pricing gets non-standard (usage tiers, credit pools, multi-year ramps, outcome-based fees).
If it's a metering-only tool like Metronome, you still need to bolt on CPQ, invoicing, and payments separately.
If it's a home-built system, you're paying engineers to maintain a billing platform instead of the product. Adyen had to build its own because nothing like Solvimon existed at the time. We exist so the next company doesn't have to make that same tradeoff.
"Solving monetization"... Kim Verkooij and Etienne Gerts both spent years at Adyen. Etienne was one of Adyen's first engineers and built its billing engine from scratch, eventually running an org of 25-30 engineering teams. Kim ran product on top of that system as VP Product, dealing with international tax, revenue assurance, and sales comp at a company processing over โฌ1T a year.
Nothing like it existed off the shelf, so Adyen had to build it in-house, at real cost. Kim and Etienne started Solvimon in 2022 to be that system for everyone else. Northzone backed the seed round with โฌ9M, and the company is profitable.
