Your Calendar, but Smarter.
A startup from Austin, the United States that is founded by April Lewis.
This page is designed to help you find out whether SmartCal Pro is good and if it is the right choice for you.
Important dates arrive in your email, not on your calendar. A flight confirmation, a rescheduled appointment, a deadline buried three replies deep — you read it, you mean to add it, and then you don't. ▎ ▎ SmartCal Pro closes that gap. Connect Gmail, Outlook or Apple Mail, and AI scans your inbox for the dates that matter, then writes them to your calendar with the reminders you choose. No forwarding, no copying and pasting. ▎ ▎ You stay in control. Review what it found before anything lands on your calendar, or turn on Auto Add and let it run. Scanning runs as often as every 30 minutes. ▎ ▎ Events land on your real calendar, so whatever you already use picks them up. It works on the web, iPhone and Android, all in sync. Teams share one setup across up to five people, and there's a Book with Me page when you need people to take time from your genuine availability. ▎ ▎ Free plan available. Paid plans start at $14.99/month with a one-week free trial

Invites & RSVP
Add people to an event and they get an invitation with a calendar file attached. They RSVP with one click and you see who's coming.
Scan Control
Decide how often your inbox is checked — daily up to every 30 minutes — and tell it what to ignore. Skip promotions, skip daily digests, and block any keyword you never want turned into an event.
Conflict Detection
Book with Me checks your real calendar before offering a slot, so nobody can book you over something you already have. It looks at your personal events, not just other bookings.
Most calendar tools start with an empty calendar and ask you to fill it in. SmartCal Pro starts with your inbox. The dates already exist — in a flight confirmation, a rescheduled appointment, a renewal notice — and the work nobody wants to do is copying them across. That's the part we automate.
Scheduling tools give you a booking link, which handles the meetings other people book with you. They do nothing about the appointments, deadlines and renewals that arrive as email. SmartCal Pro handles those, and writes them to your real Google, Outlook or Apple calendar — so everything you already use keeps working. You're not moving into a walled garden.
Solo professionals and small teams whose important dates arrive by email rather than through a booking system — consultants, real estate agents, coaches, therapists, legal and medical practices, notaries, small business owners. People who manage their own calendar with no assistant to do it for them.
Python and Flask, PostgreSQL, Celery and Redis for scheduled scanning, FullCalendar on the front end. OAuth integrations with Google, Microsoft and Apple. The iPhone app is a WKWebView shell and Android is a Trusted Web Activity, both over the same web app, so every platform stays in sync.
I built it because I kept missing my own appointments. ▎ ▎ The dates were never lost — they were sitting in my inbox, in a confirmation email I'd read and meant to add to my calendar. But between reading it and remembering it, the thing was gone. I run several businesses and manage my own calendar, so there was nobody to catch what I dropped. ▎ ▎ So I built the thing I needed: something that reads the inbox, finds the dates, and puts them on the calendar before I forget. Everything else in SmartCal Pro grew out of that one problem.
