So I've had this server on server.pro for like 3 years now, and I've never had problems before. I'm on the 4GB plan for reference. Recently, whenever I try to make a new world or switch what world I'm playing on, the most recent world gets deleted. At first, I thought it was a space thing so I deleted other worlds to make space. I have been trying to get voice chat to work on my Minecraft server on server.pro and I have tried changing the port in the config files to redownloading and replacing the mods on both client and server side. I have done simple voice chat on previous versions of Minecraft but the last time I did use voice chat was 1.18. Whether it's a 1.20.1 thing being annoying on server.pro I don't know. If I am reading this correctly and I am not stupid, you can. Use server.pro and use the free package. Pick terraria for the game then pick Montreal or Paris (whichever is closest to you), then give it a name (idk if that part is necessary) then look for the ip and port. I'm trying to host with T-Shock. I found that server.pro doesn't accept custom worlds anymore. Every time I switch the world.wld files with custom world files, the server.pro just doesn't register them and creates a new world upon start. Source: about 3 years ago

If you mean free servers, aternos is pretty good, I've been playing modded Survival on there with friends, and it's great. Alternatively, there's server.pro but that isn't as good on the free plan. Source: over 3 years ago

There are many server hosting services for example I used server.pro, and with almost all server hosters you CAN import your world. Find your world in the saves folder (singleplayer > edit > open world folder) go up 1 to your saves folder, copy your world folder somewhere, rename the copy to "world", setup server with same modpack on the server, put your world folder there replacing the current one on the server... I recently found a mod named "essential" wich allows you to (without portforwarding) share your singleplayer world with a friend, wich is pretty cool concidering that ive been looking to host a free server without lagg the entire year.
