One thing I found is https://sequematic.com. Source: about 2 years ago
Then I use another app (macrodroid) to "listen" for this specific notification, when it comes in it resets&restarts a stopwatch, and I have another trigger for that stopwatch being at 1 min 30sec which calls a (sequematic.com) webhook to turns my light off.. Source: over 2 years ago
I use sequematic.com now to control my RGB bulbs via webhook, it lets me set them to a specific colour using json. For example; {"h":0,"s":255,"v":255} this sets my bulbs to red, and {"h":240,"s":255,"v":255} sets them to blue. Took me some time to figure this all out and set it up but it works, unlike tuya/smartlife.. :P. Source: over 2 years ago
I don't use IFTTT myself (i use sequematic.com to control my tuya devices via webhooks) so I don't know if it could also be done with just IFTTT.. Source: over 2 years ago
I would suggest looking into sequematic.com. Source: over 2 years ago
I was already able to setup a fairly easy trigger rule with https://sequematic.com/ to turn the socket on based on location daylight, but I cant find a good solution to include the "PC on/off" condition. I do have a spare raspberry pi, so I was thinking about going with something like Home Assistant etc, but tbh it seems like a bit too much hassle for one smart socket and I was hoping to find an easier way! And I also use a website (sequematic.com) to control my bulbs through webhooks and I can still set it to whatever colour through there, I'm not an expert, but to me that implies that my bulbs DO still have this functionality... Source: almost 3 years ago
You could check out sequematic.com, I can still set my rgb bulb to a specific colour through there. (which implies those options do still exist outside of smartlife, so maybe it's their fault after all...) the "problem" with sequematic.com is that you need a way to trigger your sequence (device status can not be used as trigger), I use variable modified triggers mostly and modify them through webhooks. You could check out sequematic.com, it allows you to use the outdoor temperature (even real-feel) and humidity aswell as other weather conditions as trigger/conditions. Source: almost 3 years ago
I have the same problem with the pir sensor in my hallway, it doesn't have a "no alarm" option (to turn the light back off) either... it's a bit of a workaround but I solved it by using a stopwatch in the macrodroid app... This does mean that you need ifttt or some other service/way to turn your light off. (i use sequematic.com). Source: almost 3 years ago
I assume you are doing this through the google assistant because you don't want to pay for ifttt? If so, I would recommend sequematic.com it lets you control sonoff/ewelink, tuya/smartlife and philips hue devices through webhooks (similar to ifttt) and theres also some other triggers you can use like the weather and you can use variables and check your smart devices status in your sequences. I really like it... Source: almost 3 years ago
I personally use sequematic.com to turn my light on at sunset (with a condition of my "ppl at home" variable being above 0), I think it's better then the sunset trigger in smart life app, because you can have it check for cloud cover or other weather conditions. Source: about 3 years ago
You are in luck, I happen to know a website that let's you control your sonoff/ewelink, tuya and philips hue stuff through webhooks (similar to ifttt) it's called sequematic.com and it's completely free (non-commercial company, runs on donations) there is no limit on howmany "sequences" you can create. Not sure if this works for you but I had a somewhat similar problem, I was not able to control my IR blaster trough sequematic.com, I was able to make it work by creating a seperate tap-to-run for each of the buttons, like I said I don't know if this actually helps you because I don't use alexa / voice control. So I don't know if you can even run tap-to-runs by voice. Source: about 3 years ago
I use "square home" launcher in combination with macrodroid, so the square home buttons run a macrodroid shortcut which will make a http get request to sequematic.com to control my tuya devices. Source: about 3 years ago
SEQUEmatic its a platform that help you create complex sequences to automate the various smart gadgets in your home. At the moment SEQUEmatic supports TUYA/SmartLife account, eWelink, Phillips Hue, Google Assistant and IFTTT webhooks. Its an easy platform to work with, so people with no programming background can enjoy its simple use, but also supports fairly complex sequences. Where you can save values to...
