This page is designed to help you find out whether SEALnet is good and if it is the right choice for you.
Send a PDF, photo set or project ZIP by link. Neither sender nor recipient needs a SEAL account. Open seal.net, tap "Tap to send", choose your files and share the download link. Free: up to 1 GB per transfer, for up to 7 days.
Control expiry, passwords, single-use access, opening limits, geographic restrictions and NDA-gated access. Keep the separate management link to add files, create links to selected files, view access activity, export a signed log or revoke future access. Recipients can download individual files or a ZIP. Revocation cannot remove copies already downloaded.
SEAL Box is a browser inbox for your transfers, incoming files and requests from agents. Create an inbox without email and save its recovery key. Connected agents can deliver files there; you can answer their file requests outside chat.
Telegram users can use @Sealnetbot and its Mini App. Direct bot-chat uploads pass through Telegram and the bot host before encryption; the Mini App and seal.net encrypt on the device.
Developers have CLI, SDK, HTTP API and MCP workflows. Current packages are sealnet-mcp for MCP and sealnet for JavaScript and Python; the official Claude Code plugin and skill are at github.com/seal-hq/claude-plugins. Agent requests return a local file path rather than pasting a secret into chat. Recipient-key transfers support addressed handoffs. Host permissions still matter: a path does not prevent a process from reading the file.
Free: up to 1 GB per seal for up to 7 days. One-time upgrades per seal: 5 GB/$9/3 months, 50 GB/$29/6 months or 500 GB/$99/12 months. The separate per-file limit is 10 GB, not the free allowance. See seal.net/pricing.

SEAL is for individuals, teams and developers who need to send sensitive or confidential files without relying on traditional cloud storage. It is especially useful for professionals sharing documents, businesses that need controlled temporary access, developers integrating encrypted file transfer into applications, and AI workflows that need secure file handoff through MCP.
SEAL was built around a simple idea: sending a private file should not require creating an account, installing an app or trusting a server with the plaintext. The service was designed around client-side encryption and temporary, controlled access from the start. SEAL has since expanded beyond the browser with CLI, SDK, API and MCP tools, while keeping the same principle: encrypt before upload and give the sender control over access.
SEAL combines encrypted browser transfers without registration with expiry, access controls and revocation. CLI, SDK, API and MCP support automated workflows. MCP handoff delivers links outside the normal tool response; secret intake returns a file path, and targeted transfers require the recipient's key. Host permissions still matter. Free seals include 1 GB for up to seven days; paid upgrades expand one seal without a recurring subscription.
SEAL is designed for situations where privacy and control matter. Files are encrypted client-side before upload, no account is required, and senders control access with expiration, passwords, single-use links, download limits and revocation. Unlike a traditional cloud drive, SEAL is built for temporary secure delivery rather than long-term file storage. It also supports browser, CLI, SDK, API and MCP workflows for both people and automated systems.
SEAL's published protocol uses AES-256-GCM for encryption, SHA-256 for ciphertext digests, and X25519 with HKDF-SHA-256 for recipient-key transfers. Developer interfaces include a CLI, JavaScript and Python packages, an HTTP API and the sealnet-mcp server. Browser integrations encrypt on the user's device; server-side SDK integrations encrypt in the process running the SDK. The protocol specification and test vectors are published at seal.net/docs/spec.
