Welcome to another edition of a random card being turned into an EDH Deck! Every Friday I create a budget (<$100) EDH Deck based entirely around a random card that I pull from scryfall.com (or that is suggested by someone else, either way it’s still random to me). I would love it if anyone has any suggestions for future random cards/decks or just wants to share their own experiences with any cards or decks... Source: 9 months ago
You really ought to look into scryfall and in particular, the advanced search function. That, and the official rules. Really helps with most everything when you're trying to learn/play the game. Source: 10 months ago
Scryfall and Gatherer are two insanely valuable resources for searching through the entire MTG catalog of cards. Both sites have syntax options to help narrow down results based on a large number of different things. Source: 10 months ago
Like other comments have suggested, using Scryfall or Gatherer to find the cards in Portuguese and then copy and pasting the images into a document. Make sure you have the cards at the right scale (might take a bit of comparing real cards and printer paper to the on screen scale). Then cut them out and insert them into sleeves with a card behind for support (I'd recommend basics or any bulk cards you have lying... Source: 10 months ago
Use Scryfall to search up the price, note different versions of the same card can have different values. A card might be worth 1k in alpha, but 2 cents for the recent printing versions. When in doubt, post it on r/magicTCG or seek advice. Sell it to reputable game stores like 401 or face to face or on eBay. If the card is in great condition, you might want to have it graded. I search scryfall.com for sets from around that time, 3ed, 4ed, 5ed, Mirage, Portal, Tempest, but can't find anything. I'm fairly certain I'm not hallucinating! Does it ring a bell for anyone? Source: 11 months ago
Hi OP, Im not sure if you of a site called scryfall which allows you to search for all magic cards. If you'd searched [[Ashaya, Soul of the Wild]] on scryfall and looked at all the printings you would have seen an image with the date. Now ill admit that if you clicked this you would have only been told that its a promo, but if you kept clicking on Buy foil on TCGplayer if you say "Prerelease cards". Source: 11 months ago
