If we're allowed to recommend products here, I've used Safetywing insurance in the past and they've been great. Comes with travel insurance too. Source: about 1 year ago
A new provider is "Safety Wing", https://safetywing.com/. They reopened individual plans, are mostly online, and didn't care where we live. Prices were 2.2K to 3.6K for the 40-50 age bracket. The seem nice, someone at our company will try them eventually, but I can't give a full e. Source: over 1 year ago

I am actually Italian and also there healthcare is public, in Germany it's a mix. When out of Europe, one has just to buy an international insurance, most of them cover worldwide, others cover macroregions. I have found this one, in case some friend of yours will be in the same situation: https://safetywing.com/. Source: over 1 year ago
Had World Nomad, claim took 6 months to get paid out, only after I threatened a law suit. Haven't used them but maybe try SafetyWing - Insurance for Nomads, by Nomads. Source: over 1 year ago

I've only bought travel insurance once, and it was this past year. We used Safety Wing, and it was cheap and easy to set up. Never had a make a claim, though, so I don't know how that would be. Source: over 1 year ago

One of the best solutions is to have a designated person in-house that will focus on the role of onboarding new arrivals - acting as a go-between the new employee and the inner working of the company. This will allow the new employee to see a friendly face, who can then introduce them to the company's mission, roadmap and the rest of the team. In our team at SafetyWing, the Head of Culture takes on this role. Source: almost 2 years ago

Does this site keep up with legit sites to recommend? I'm going for Nomad Insurance (safetywing.com) for my insurance because AXA just keep saying I get 1,000,000 coverage (i don't know if they mean in bhat, usd, or what, it's all confusing). Anybody else had experience with this one? Source: over 2 years ago
Hey! The reality is that the health insurance stuff is not as strict as they make it sound. They didn't even checked my friend's who came back from Miami last week. I know a lot people from the US can get some really cheap insurance anyway from stuff like travelnomads.com . I personally use one called safetywing.com which charges me USD40 per month and covers everything. Source: over 2 years ago
