  All three of these are web browsers (slack and vscode are built on electron) that are notoriously RAM-hungry. If you don't want to buy new hardware, switching to using the slack web-app or using a third party client like Ripcord will remove one of those browsers, and using an IDE that isn't a web browser would take out another.   If you don't just want to use it locally but stream it over discord, I recommend to use a virtual soundmixer like Voicemeeter to stream ambience and music to a separate client/user in the voicechat via Ripcord, a 3rd party discord client that offers stereo sound (technically against Discord ToS, so fair warning).
